Baffled by the positive reviews and how my experience was so wildly different. The manager showed the most strange and unprofessional behavior and overall my experience reminded me of the value of NOT trying to save $200. After this entire experience with a tremendous amount of back and forth and waiting over a MONTH (during the holidays)to have a fully operational range, I definitely would opt for purchasing an unopened item from a traditional store next time. I had purchased from Appliances For Less in California in the past and had a great experience, but I will absolutely never shop at this store again.
Purchased an oven/range, the salesperson i initially worked with (matt) was incredibly professional (maybe should be considered for manager). We worked on pricing and arrangements one day and I called back the next day to pay and schedule delivery.
Matt was out so the manager who's name I cant remember took over. The manager on the first call while halfway through the transaction, told me he'd call me back because he has other customers to deal with. Weirdly unprofessional.
I was invested in this particualr range so I persisted. I had to call 4 times that day having been promised a call back to pay and secure the range.
Finally it was delivered, and a few days later my propane guy converted it and installed it. It had a lot more damage than was advertised (just sticker residue)
Tech came out, said it was clearly dropped at some point causing issues with the alignment of the doors. Manager later called me and said his tech told him something different, called me a liar, etc. I had to send multiple videos and photos while this guy denied reality and said it was normal.
After tons of back and forth and him avoiding any and all accountability possible, we finally agreed I would pay the difference for a different range and they would deliver it.
Still after this, He even texted me at 9pm that evening with videos from two stores floor models showing how sometimes there is a slight misalignment of the doors. I found this utterly psychotic. Texted me after hours late evening after already agreeing - showing me videos of something massively different than what I had sent.
New stove comes, oven doesnt work. Another tech appt scheduled days out.
I was absolutely shook by the lack of accountability for their faulty product and the slowness to respond. It took an entire month from the time of purchase to the time I finally had a fully working range in a model that I didnt even want.
Such bad business, just moved to the area and in need of appliances and sadly won't be willing to shop at this location.
Edited to add: I see once again the owner arguing me in response. The stove I bought initially was $200 more brand new. The new one that replaced the severely damaged one, perhaps is more expensive but not what I wanted.
I was offered a refund for the grossly misrepresented initially unit, but had already paid to have it converted to propane and installed so I would have lost money on this and negotiated that Appliances for Less provide the service.
The initial stove was advertised as a very minimal markdown because it was ONLY opened and had sticker residue. It actually had a broken foot, scratching inside the door and frame, a misaligned door that was irreparable due to being dropped, and missing glass inside the door. Manager came on the first tech visit and was overheard acknowledging the misaligned door and left with it that was anyway before proceeding to argue my claim of the misalignment for day.
This is a big oversight in the testing process and poor advertising. As you can see the manager still has zero concern for accountability. Initially I was very friendly - these things happen and as a business owner myself, I know you simply take the loss and fix it. That is the cost of doing business.
The continued argumentative behavior is crazy to me. Mistakes happen and you fix it. Except at this...
Read moreI recently purchased a new refrigerator and couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, the customer service was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful in answering all my questions. They made the process smooth and stress-free.
One of the biggest highlights was the free delivery and haul-away service. The team arrived on time, handled everything with care, and took away my old fridge without any hassle. It made the entire experience incredibly convenient.
When it comes to price, this store truly stands out. The affordability was a major win, especially when compared to the bigger box retailers. I did my research, and this fridge was priced better here without compromising on quality or features.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this store to anyone in the market for a new appliance. Great value, excellent service, and a seamless delivery experience—what more could...
Read moreI had a great experience with these guys. Tim was who I worked with. He demonstrated excellent professionalism and was extremely helpful. Customer service was great. He answer my initial questions over the phone and answered some in person. He stated open a little bit past the closing time as I told him I wouldn't be able to get there until around closing time. He explained all the details of the purchase, any fees, warranty, etc. He went well out of his way to deliver my washer dryer stacker combo the next day and help hook it up. It was late on a Sunday night partially raining, yet he showed up and communicated the entire process about when he would come. He even called back to confirm something he was unsure about was correct. I would definitely buy from them again. Price was also a good price. Delivery was costly as I live nearly 40 plus mins away but I suppose that's typical of delivery costs these days. Great place, give...
