Poughkeepsie Plaza — Local services in Town of Poughkeepsie

It is very sad that T.J. Maxx and Home Goods basically cut the mall part in half. There used to be an absolutely gorgeous, smaller Mall here but now there ain't much of it. Tea Talk is still around, I love that, and Tasty Crab is alright. T.J. Maxx and Home Goods are nice but they should not have made the rest of The Mall part close. There is never parking for those stores since they moved and it makes parking hard for other places. They got to move T.J. Maxx and Home Goods and put the rest of the mall back in. Also Sierra is a cool store as well. It would be great for The Poughkeepsie Plaza to go back to it's former...

Went to the pastry garden on Sunday to pick up my mom's 70th birthday cake. There was a miscommunication with the ordering but Steph the owner and her crew took to the task and refinished mom's cake . It was the talk of the town. And tasted so good as usual . I'm grateful Steph made good on the issue because I really love their cakes and would hate to have to find another spot .. but @thepastrygarden is my number one cake spot. Take it from me. The stores themselves are awesome. There is a great variety of stores (Marshall’s, famous footwear, tea talk, TJ Maxx, Home Goods…) and they’re all maintained. The parking lot itself is absolutely ridiculous. There is not enough parking for the amount of people that visit. It’s constantly packed and people are parking in the Wendy’s parking lot and walking over just to shop. If you don’t mind waiting for a spot and traffic this is a great place to shop.
