Krause's Chocolates — Attraction in Town of Saugerties

Hands down best chocolate in town! We were visiting Saugreties for Thanksgiving weekend and walked around town and found this hidden gem away from the mainline shops. We walked into chocolate heaven and the staff was very welcoming and eager to share recommendations according to taste preferences. The prices were incredible for a lb box of chocolates and bags of other assorted goodies we picked up. Highly recommend their dark chocolate we picked up butterscotch, crispies, marzapan, graham cracker, orange peels, peanut butter, and caramelmallows all very delicious. Krause’s Chocolates was one of the first businesses I visited when I moved to Saugerties last July and to be honest I’ve been back here more times than I dare to admit… whenever I go, I grab the 1 pound box and ask for it to be filled with all of my favorites. There are several sizes of boxes to choose from, as well as a wide variety of prepackaged goodies! We are obsessed with high quality chocolate in our house and all prefer dark chocolate. We bring home an obscene amount of chocolate from our overseas travels incl Belgium, France and Vietnam. My husband and I stopped in Krause’s in July and brought home a box for the family. We immediately regretted not buying more.
