I took a Samsung VR headset in to be repaired because Samsung listed this place as a certified service center and the Best Buy website seemed to confirm this as to at least being a service center for electronics in general. Was told by the 18 year old "tech" behind the counter that it's been a "really long time" since they were a Samsung service center and couldn't work on my device without insurance.(although their website here clearly states with pride that they fix any device no matter where it was purchased, must have picked the one store not included in the 1100 stated just my luck) He then tells me they can ship directly to Samsung. "Great" I say "let's do that". He walks to the back for a minute, comes to the counter and tells me,"we can't. I mean, like we used to ship lots of stuff out, but like, not any more, like...bacause COVID." And then said "It would be better if you, like, sent it in yourself because, like, I have two other clients already I'm dealing with and it would be a long time, like 2 days before I could get to it". Well God bless you Best Buy Geek Squad kid, what an astronomically difficult job you have, yet day after day you show up unable to fix anything of ship stuff because...ya know....COVID. Or something. Read moreI had an 1140am appointment. I showed up for my appointment and as told to come back in an hour. When I arrived back again, I was told to sit and wait so I did. I was waiting and the balding gray haired man working the geek squad counter wouldn’t even tell me how much longer it would be! I waited over an Hour sitting with my 2 small children; and finally I was able to speak to a manager. The manager who had know I was waiting and my phone wasn’t even seen yet. Took my phone to the back, gave it to the tech and told me it will be 20-30 minutes because it was just a reset. Since the phone was stuck on the start up screen. The young girl came out from the back 5 minutes later with my phone, and apologized to me. AND SAID if the man working the counter had just told her that the phone needed to be reset, or showed her the phone I would have been done in minutes! By the time I left the geek squad in Best Buy it was 250pm. I WILL NEVER BE USING THIS...

I was held on hold almost 15 minutes, then told they do not take calls, only in person contact!!! I don't know what the Hell kind of a business that is, but they and Best Buy will never get any further business from me. I am 50 miles away, and they want me to drive 100 miles to ask...
