In my opinion, I don’t see this store lasting unless they lower their prices or people don’t mind the high prices but when you charge 15.99 a pound for potato salad that you can get at another store for 5.99 a pound something is not right nothing is priced in the store which you had this much time to open, you think that you would have the store in tiptop shape! I understand it’s a new store, but you were supposed to open in May and you didn’t open till June at least have everything priced and everything ready to go not oh how much is this or how much is that and when you’re buying a little bit of potato salad and it’s costing five dollars for three or four bites that’s absolutely Insane and the prices of the cold cuts. I know they’re boars head but I can get them cheaper over at market 32,we are in upstate ny and i grew up in nyc and never seen prices like that down there even, might check it out again. Maybe the women said the wrong price but she even said it was the right price wow

So since I live near the store, I decided to go back since I went earlier in the morning and thinking maybe I was not awake enough to check it out So this time I went in and checked everything out I grabbed a few things couple cookies from the bakery I’ve had better cookies from Walmart’s bakery bought a few rice balls. The ones with just rice and the other one had peas And meat in it and the one with the meat was so dry and I don’t even know I had my mom try it Since I thought Maybe my taste buds were off but nope they were absolutely disgusting. She spit it out so quick Also got some chicken cutlets and I can make better chicken cutlets than those. I don’t know. It just seemed to me like all the food was sitting for a few days. Everything seemed very dry and weird flavors I will never go back...

I really wanted to like this place — a NYC rooted business in upstate is exactly what this area needed and I had high hopes going in after living in the city previously. Unfortunately, the experience was anything but great.

To start, the service was incredibly slow. Even though the place was fully staffed, it felt chaotic and uncoordinated. We waited over 30 minutes for 2 subs, 1 eggplant roll, a few rice balls and fried ravioli. The employee had no idea how much anything cost or how to ring it up, needing to ask 2 other employees before incorrectly charging us anyway.

The people at the register were also confused. We grabbed a container of sauerkraut, which they couldn’t scan and needed go back to the aisle to check the price to ring up.

After getting home, we discovered both subs were made incorrectly. Both the Italian supreme and deluxe Italian were made with shredded mozzarella, one of the subs was missing balsamic glaze and olive oil while the other was missing half the meats. To our dismay, we also found plastic in the Italian supreme sub in two different bites.

When we called to give them the feedback on the plastic, they apologized with no follow up of trying to make it right - offering a refund or coming back to make a new sub correctly would have been the bare minimum for good customer service, but instead we were left feeling dismissed and frustrated after an already disappointing visit. Sure, the bread was good, but it couldn’t make up for the poorly made sub.

A brand-new place should be going above and beyond to make a strong first impression. Instead, this was a total letdown. Between the slow service, confusion of the staff, and plastic in the sub, it was very disappointing.

Opening day or not — food safety and customer service matter. And they failed on...

Do not listen to most reviews! This place is really developing OBVIOUSLY because most reviews I read are VERY inaccurate! ANYWAY, as if 7-31-2025 This grocery store is very different then the others in Saratoga if you haven’t gone you need to. The prices are much cheaper then other stores. The have such a huge butcher shop it will take a minute to go through. David helped me make a great choice of the hot link sausages to feed a group of friends, that were wicked cheap for the amount I got, 10 for $14.78 (picture available) and they are all made in store. The deli has all different bores head meats and other high end meats and cheeses. We got street corn salad too AlSO cheap $3.10 for .45 pounds? . Bagels are made with dough straight out of the city along with a huge selection of pastas a. There’s a little bagel shop right in the back of this store. Cannot wait to go back for breakfast bagels. This place is definitely not over priced like some reviews claim you need to see it to believe. It’s very well staffed for sure and they are very friendly, you are greeted at the door. Can’t wait to see what becomes of this new...

Went on opening day to try a sub. Ordered their Italian supreme. Which was supposed to have fresh mozzarella, balsamic glaze, and olive oil. When I got home, the sub had shredded mozzarella and no balsamic glaze or olive oil. I still decided to go ahead and eat it. Chalked it up to them being busy first day being open. I bite into this sandwhich and there was still plastic around the cold cuts. I called to let them know about this and the incorrect order. All they could do was apologize, didn’t offer a refund or anything. Not to mention when checking out. They had no idea what things were priced and had to run back to the shelves to check. Was extremely excited for this place to open, and am very disappointed with my first experience here.
