I was really looking forward to my appt at Banner OBYGN today, It's been extremely difficult to get seen anywhere else.Im currently 17 weeks pregnant and have not had an OBGYN appt until now due to long wait times elsewhere-so finally getting in today felt like a relief. My Appt was scheduled for 2:00 pm, and I made sure to arrive 15 mins early. However, finding parking and navigating through the large hospital took some time. At 2:00 pm, I called the office to let them know I was on- site but lost and needed help finding their exact location. Unfortunately, the experience from that point on was very disappointing.Instead of helping me with directions, the woman on the phone, Grace, immediately starting asking me for all my personal information again-name, address and phone number -even though we had already gone over that before.she even asked me to repeat my phone number multiple times to update their systems which felt like a waste of critical time. By the time we finished all of that(which I didn't call for), it was around 2:15 pm that's when I was told I had to reschedule- for a month later in September. This was incredibly frustrating and discouraging, especially being so far along in my pregnancy without having had any prenatal care yet.on top of that Grace's tone and attitude came off as cold and unwelcoming.I didn't feel like there was any real concern or care for me as a patient or expectant mother.First impressions matter ! And unfortunately this experience made me question banners OBGYN commitment to patient care I hope the office improves their front desk service and shows more empathy to patients-especially pregnant women who are just trying to get the...
Read moreI do NOT recommend the OBGYN clinic here. They're extremely neglectful and blatantly ignore your needs/concerns. I've apparently had kidney stones for the past 6 weeks since I first told them about some excruciating left rib pain and UTI symptoms. They finally got me in for an ultrasound today and there are not one but 3 large (0.9 cm is the biggest) stones in my left kidney and 1 moderately sized stone in my right kidney. I was considered high risk because of medication I take and high blood pressure I get as a result. They never did anything to prescribe me treatment for the UTI and refused to give me any other medications I needed. Go to TMC, they have a water birth center too. Don't bother with Banner here or you'll suffer the consequences when you...
Read moreREALLY REALY bad communication infrastructure. I truly have never worked so hard to reach a department let alone my actual Dr. The online messaging system routinely fails and their telephone interface disconnects calls and routes you to inactive numbers all. the. time. I am deeply frustrated with my experience here in terms of communication. The doc themselves seems great, and they got me in really quick which was great - but essentially zero follow up and LOTS of work on my end to get in touch with anyone about a somewhat serious medical issue that needs follow up. Additionally, their communication with other hospital networks is poor as they were requesting my records using the wrong fax number?...
