Christ Community Church — Attraction in Tucson

I found the minister,Eric extremely positive and encouraging! And the church teachings stick to the Scriptures rather than man-made opinions which is very important to gain accurate knowledge (John 17:3)! Our faith has been really strengthened from the excellent sermons and we love the music,a great large choir and at Christmas time a super FESTIVAL OF CAROLS performance,with a nice production that is very uplifting and entertaining to enjoy the holidays! The only shortcomings that hurts is the fact that the church is too BIG to get to know people for fellowship...people don't stay and ...TAKE THE TIME, ...to talk,introduce themselves,but instead,too many leave right away. Too busy?However,with over 1,000 members that tends to happen,(human nature to have "clicks", of a few friends and not "widen out in our love" as Jesus and the apostle Paul taught ( John 13:34,35). The in -home community groups are always too full for new members,sad to say... As Christians,we all need REMINDERS, to heed Christ's Command to love one another,as even He loves us! I hope the body takes the counsel to stop and reach out to the "widow and orphan,"the single and empty-nest couples,those with no family to fill the empty void in their hearts -for friends who really care!!! Then Christ Community Church will show more "community" in their spirit to prosper and grow! Overall, my wife and I do like this church very much and recommend it to all new folks to come join us in joyful worship! A Bible-centered community of Christ followers! As a 23 year old, my job moved me to Tucson two years ago and I visited a handful of Tucson churches(Baptist, Lutheran, Evangelical, Nondenominational, etc). I found Christ Community Church very welcoming, friendly, and the worship music was a balance of contemporary, classic, and hymn worship songs. If you have a need to grow spiritually, investigate the claims of Christianity, or have been a believer for years, there is a program, class, or service opportunity for you at Christ Community. I've been impressed with the numerous family events and school-age activities open to the community. I was drawn to Steve Ingino's style of preaching/teaching- chalk full of scripture, life application stories, and piercing double-edged truth. Don't let the size intimidate you as the community groups and volunteering has given me a great sense of family, accountability, and real friendships...

This church is amazing their outreach helps the community so much and their church service and the groups they offer are amazing. If you are in need of a church you should give this one a try. If you need help you can apply for assistance and they can help you out if you qualify and if the help is avail. They've helped me out a few times with getting my car fixed they payed a mechanic to fix my car so that I had transportation and so I was able to get my son to his dr appointments. They also had people from the church work on my car to fix things so that it wasnt so expensive at the mechanics shop. They are such amazing people doing God's work! And the church is so inviting! I definitely recommend this church the pastor is down to earth and has a gift with preaching, he explains what he's preaching about so it's easier to understand.
