IHOP — Restaurant in Tucson

Went here yesterday with my two kids and had a horrible and extreme weird experience! The sever Jennifer brought me an absolute cold pot of coffee...it took what seems like forever was to get her to notice us so I could let her know that the coffee was cold, due to the restroom being busy or this woman lack of service since we got there. Okay, she took the pot of cold coffee with what seems like a bad attitude, no apologies. I brushed it off saying well it must be me. Okay, here she come with a fresh pot only thing is that what ever it was was dripping from and all over the pot and she poured some into my cup what seems sarcastically, this must have all been in my head because I did nothing wrong to this server? The cup had a red what seems like a food particle stuck on the inside closer to the top. She missed giving me a dirty cup, and it took her awhile to get back to us so I could point this out! I did eventually and she took the cup absolutely no apologies and brought back another.

All this time we were waiting for our food, no check-ins even though we notice she check on the customers right next to us but quick moved away without even slightly looked our way even though we sat directly across from them. She brought our orders except my daughter's pancakes were undercooked and fours strips of turkey bacon was burned. Now, why is all this happening? I pointed out this to her and all she said was "yes, I see it" I wanted her to know that this wasn't made up and this was actually happening to my family and myself not her? She brought us to go containers and "oh my gosh" one of the containers was dirty! Looked as if it was slightly used and quickly wiped! I gave her the container and pointed all this out...that when she said I am sorry!

All this, so sad. I left her full tip in which she deserves not one penny! But a lesson I taught my kids while we stand outside and discussed the rudeness, unfairness and for what reason if there is any we may never know services of what seems like a server! Shame on Jennifer!! I hope she has a conscience and know that she never deserved that tip!!! We decided we are going to stop eating out! Will never go back to this IHOP!

Today is the last day that I'll be coming to this IHOP. It's tradition for my children and I to eat brunch here after our church service, but today was the last straw. In the past, we have had minor issues with poor customer service from the waiters and waitresses and poorly cleaned restrooms, but today it started with our rude waitress then our ridiculously long wait for our meals. By the time we received our meals, they were cold and we were missing a part of our order. When the waitress took our order, she didn't write all of it down on her notepad, so we can only assume that is how part of the order was forgotten. I also was the unlucky one to find a hair in my eggs. It looked like a damn pubic hair. My sister and I both lost our appetite. They offered to remake the meal, but after the hair and everything else, we decided to just pay for my kids' meals and leave. The manager was kind and removed our two meals from our bill, but this experience has sealed the deal for us to never come back here again. Another thing we noticed is that almost every waitress with long hair was put up in messy buns with no hair nets...just look super unprofessional. My eldest child also noticed as we were leaving that no one in the kitchen had hair nets on either. The women's bathroom was not clean. There was urine on the toilet seats, toilet paper all over the floor and it smelled terrible. One of my son's said the mens room was just as bad. One of our forks at the table was not clean and still had food particles on it. If there was an option for no stars, I'd put that because today they dont even deserve 1 star. I have come to this location on occasion. I decided to come today because I was craving strawberry crapes. I was greeted promptly and seated. I will say it was a little busy but at no point hopping. Alas, there I sat. Five minutes later a busboy walked by and said hi. Alas there I still sat. A few minutes later a waitress who was greeting two other tables who were seated only moments before comes over to me and says ," What do you want" her tone was that of being annoyed. No hello, hi, sorry , nothing. I walked in at 1015 on Friday the 13th, maybe thats the cause.. my waitress, I won't say her name but #673, took my order at 1030. Strawberry crapes, coffee. As she was writing on her pad she turned and was walking away. I called her back as I wasn't finished. I added scrambled eggs and sausage to the order and asked for vanilla creamer. She actually chided back we don't have that only regularly creamer. I was a little shocked as I have had it in the past with my family.. Unfortunately I have had this waitress before with pretty much the same result. She walks around a lot but dosent seem to accomplish anything, busy work. When my food did arrive at 1056 it was cool. I didn't say anything to her as she was already irritated that I was a party of one. She apparently focuses her attention on larger groups. I say this with certainty as another gentleman sitting across from me suffered the same issues. I can say she was prompt in bringing me my bill at 1102, 6 min after serving me.I realize that a sign in the door says hiring all positions and it is truely hard to get anyone to work, but at what point is it worth keeping someone who in this case drives a customer to go eat at...
