WOW! This museum boasts an impressive collection, particularly for those interested in antique and vintage medicine. The various sections are thoughtfully curated, providing a fascinating glimpse into the history of medical treatments. While the accompanying text for each exhibit is minimal due to space constraints, the organization; grouping medicines by their uses, enhances the viewing experience. The physical layout further contributes to the museum’s engaging atmosphere. I highly recommend a visit to anyone with an interest in medical history. Appointment only!

Check out this bottle for which I created the label at Coit Museum of Pharmacy & Health Sciences! For FREE. My guided tour was abundantly informative and a wee bit nostalgic. For instance, who remembers the Upjohn Pharmacy on Disneyland's famed Main Street? Much of what is on display here came from that very store! And who knows how the drugstore "soda fountain" came to be? Find out when you visit Coit Museum at The University of Arizona.

Heather was kind enough to open the museum for us on a Thursday and gave us a great tour! We're so thankful this museum is free and open to the public for viewing and learning. We'll be telling our friends who frequent Tucson often to go and visit and we'll certainly be back to see how things grow and change there! Great experience!

I had an incredible experience at the Coit Museum of Pharmacy, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! This hidden gem offers a fascinating journey through the history of pharmacy, showcasing beautifully preserved artifacts, vintage medicines, and interactive exhibits that highlight the evolution of the field.

What made my visit even more special was the warm welcome and expertise of Heather, the museum director. She was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to share insights about the exhibits. Her enthusiasm for pharmacy history is contagious, and she went above and beyond to make the experience both educational and engaging.

If you have any interest in science, medicine, or history, this museum is a must-visit. Whether you're a student, a professional in the field, or just curious about the past, you'll walk away with a deeper appreciation for the impact of pharmacy on our lives. Thanks again to Heather and the entire team for making this such a...

What a delightful surprise! This is a well curated museum with a wide range of things to see: everything from Disneyland, to gum chewed by a famous villain, to beautiful antiques, to the history of pharmacists, and so much more. My guide was absolutely wonderful and had lots of stories about pharmacists and pharmacies at the University of Arizona as well as in the field in general. I didn’t know much about pharmacy at the beginning, but now I have a new respect for this important kind of medicine. ...
