Great community environment! This place is hoppin' with all kinds of events, small groups, retreats and special presentations.

The liturgy is simple and reverent, very easy to plug into if you're new. The music at Mass is not very traditional, but it is very beautiful and cheerful. Lots of singing and lots of young people leading the hymns and music. So awesome!!

The Dominican Friars and Sisters that run the place are such an inspiration! They are excellent witnesses to the Gospel! It is so good to see male and female religious working together for a common mission.

If you are looking for a warm and accepting Roman Catholic community with outstanding homilies, then the Newman Center at the University of Arizona is where you want to be. This parish exists to provide for the students of the University, and many of it's activities are focused on the student community. The Newman Center has been a part of my husband's and my life since we moved to Tucson almost thirty years ago. It is a wonderful Catholic spiritual center for U.A. students, but also provides spiritual refreshment for those in the broader community. The Newman Center is staffed by Dominicans.
