We’ve been going to Berry Devine at Tucson (Speedway location) weekly since one of our kids was a freshman at U of A, and she’s a senior this year. Since we live locally, we still come once every couple weeks during the summer, so it’s fair to say that we’re regular customers here. The quality, quantity, and customer service had been consistently top notched the last 3 years until recently.
Recently, we drop off our kids at U of A on August 21st and 22nd and stopped there for our Açaí fix on both days. The experience was below average both days. The volumes were significantly smaller on both times. Since we’ve had nothing but excellent experience at Berry Devine the last three years, so we gave it the benefit of the doubt that new school year and new staff. This afternoon, it’s absolutely horrendous, and we ran out of excuses for Berry Devine. We ordered large açaí as usual, but there’s hardly any granola in it. With all the fruit toppings and the açaí, all together was still way under 2/3 of the large sized plastic container. The young lady who made it didn’t seem to care. She talked nonstop to another employee while working, and was actually annoyed when I brought it to the attention of another male staff. He was kind enough snd offered to give a little more açaí, but still no where near a full container. I looked around and saw that everyone who ordered the regular size bowl had their containers over filled to the point that they almost fall off the container. If putting our large bowl next to their regular sized bowl, their volumes are almost equal. There were other customers after us who also ordered large açaí bowl. Similarly to ours, theirs were also barely two third filled.
Hopefully you can check your camera and see what I’m talking about. We love your açaí bowls and would love to be back regularly as we used to. Hopefully it’ll be a much more pleasant experience next time.
Sincerely,
Your Berry...
Read moreThe young ladies that work there are always welcoming, friendly, and provide excellent customer service. I have been looking for acai bowls that use 100% REAL ACAI (not just a little blended with other fruits and juices so much so that it doesn't taste like ACAI anymore) after my favorite place that I used to work at closed years ago and Berry Devine definitely has the absolute best bowls I've ever tasted!!! The prices are great, especially when u take into account the generous portion sizes and the quality of the fresh ingredients that they use. When I'm craving an acai bowl now that I've gone here I won't go anywhere else, they fail in comparison. I tried Berry Divine on a whim as I was passing by going somewhere else and I'm so glad I did, I was hooked. I go here at least twice a week, usually more. It helped me get better fast when I was sick with covid 2 months ago and I couldn't hold any food down and nothing sounded good cuz I couldn't taste anything. Surprisingly the only thing I could somewhat taste at all that actually sounded good was these acai bowls, idk y. But I truly believe it helped my immune system get stronger and gave me strength to fight off one of the worst viruses I ever had. Anyway I can go on forever bout this place. Basically what I'm trying to say is I doubt that anyone can compete with this place. I appreciate their friendly smiles and professionalism. The only thing I would change is I wish they had more seating, especially outside, that would be nice but it's understandable because of the size of the store and the small plaza it's in. If u do try Berry Divine (which obviously u should, it's so crazy good) I recommend the Maui bowl,...
Read moreNot good at all! Service and product not good at all. High prices also. They brag about the acia being organic but their fruit isn’t, what’s the point then? How hard is it to put all of the ingredients into a container? I just went there 11/20/24 @ around 6:45pm. Ordered the vortex to go and they didn’t include the flax or chia seeds. Totally ruins the entire bowl because now there’s no crunch. I even went back in after they gave me the 2 go bag to see why the granola was such a small amount. They said that’s the amount for a large and small together (quarter of a small container, what a joke!). I figured they were not good at their job so I checked in multiple times to ensure they separated the acia as to not make the granola soggy for the ride home. Multiple check ins should have prompted them to think about whether they were including everything but it was obvious they didn’t want to be there and didn’t care. They gave us more fruit in the small bowl than the large. The large is almost entirely acia only. Gross! Might as well be acia only because they gave me less than a quarter of a banana and 5 blueberries. Definitely checking out different acia establishments. Will not be returning to this waste of...
