I normally have positive experiences at Moon. On this occasion I stopped in to buy a new battery. I purchased a more expensive decal one and brought it home to find out it does not work. I came back to the store to inform the employees and they brought another one out for me to try but it didn't seem to work either. The employees said it was my cartridge not the battery. I went home to get another cartridge to try, brought it back to the store, but again the battery wouldn't pull. The employees brought out another battery just like it, and told me to try again and stated that it doesn't happen to a third battery. Again nothing happened. I informed the employees that the batch of batteries were bad, or so I thought. I asked to see another battery that was the same brand and style, but cheaper because I had no decals. That battery worked perfectly fine with my cartridge. I think it was due to the fact that it had no magnet and it was twist on. The employees didn't really want to seem to exchange my battery for the one that worked. I Believe they thought I just didn't want the other non functioning battery and I was making everything up. The situation was weird they should have just exchanged the non-working one for the one that worked. I was forced to keep the broken battery and purchase the new one. I'm almost wondering if they know they have a bad batch of these batteries and which is why they didn't want to take it back from me. Good job for testing out multiple batteries for the customer, but I don't give you props for making me keep your broken product and purchasing...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I first went to the location off of stone to buy a Xmas gift for a relative and did have my 18 year old son with me, i picked out a vape kit for the gift and when I went to pay she refused sale because I had my son who didnt have proper ID to show he was 21. I know the law is 21 to purchase tobacco products however since I am in my 40's and was the sole purchaser just hapoemed to have my son standing with me, I was slightly surprised at this. Ive never shopped in a smoke shop before and don't know of that's the proper law and I do realize she was perhaps just protecting them from any legal issues,I just felt that it wasn't necessary, unless the law does state that a miner cannot be present during purchase. So I asked her if I should just come back when i was alone and she said I really cant come back. To make me appear as though ive committed some offense I think was the biggest surprise to me. She treated me as though I was underage and trying to purchase something using a fake ID and had been "busted". I didnt appreciate that as it was quite embarrassing. I went home and charged the elf bar because I thought thatās what it needed this has happened before buying from moon but the flavor was not consistent with what I was used to. I come in today and tell the employee whatās going on and he says itās policy they canāt do anything once it leaves the store. I come in every week and buy a new elf bar and they canāt help me out the one time their product is faulty. Yea they lost me as a customer and I feel the need to share this because it seems like things are changing for the worse at moon smoke shop rn. Be very cautious when purchasing any vape product the one I bought taste recycled. I wonāt be back again.
