MSA Annex — Attraction in Tucson

Sure, the MSA Annex has clever architecture and slick shops. But it's the worst neighbor ever.

Ever since we moved in to the Monier apartment building across the street in May 2023 there have been many daytime and late-night events with absurdly loud music-like noise. For some reason they even need thumping bass for daytime yoga. But the weekend of 13-15 October was ridiculous, with three straight nights of noise, and with the cacophony going past 10pm on two of those nights.

While this is a nuisance for us, and we look forward to moving to be rid of it, we feel especially bad for the small children dragged to these events. Kids shouldn't be exposed to hearing damage just because their parents are too clueless to...

So I’ve lived in the downtown Tucson area for a few years now and for the most part it’s been fun with my plenty of things to keep me entertained. I did leave for a year and when I returned I noticed all the construction projects that were underway. It looks like they are trying to improve the city centre and it’s a good thing. One new thing I did come across was the MSA Annex. What a nice discovery! It’s a little bit outside the downtown core but it’s worth visiting. There are some nice stores with great merchandise and a few restaurants which I plan to try for sure. I did have coffee at the Hermosa coffee roasters. Great coffee! This just might be my new hangout....
