I've had State Farm with Tom as my agent since forever. My parents as well. Yes, I have shopped around to compare. If anyplace was cheaper, it was by a miniscule amount and, given the phenomenal customer service I ALWAYS receive from Tom and his staff, simply wasn't worth the switch to me. I have 2 cars and my home insured. When I reach out about a certain coverage, they always explain it in simple terms I understand and they will be honest if they think it's not something that would benefit me. They're out to serve their customers as best and honestly as possible, not just to make a sale. You can't go wrong with State Farm through Tom DeBerry.

Sarah was so incredibly patient with all my questions and explained everything in plain language and helped to not only relieve some of my anxiety but I also felt much better being armed with all the info and having a better idea of possible or probably outcomes....

Phone calls are always answered and returned promptly usually the same day and the staff (Andrea) is knowledgeable, personable, professional, and friendly, and I appreciate that they take the time to explain anything I have questions about. You can tell they actually care about their customers having a good experience with them. They do a nice job of telling you about other coverage you can get (example: inviting you to save money by adding your auto policy or other to your current insurance with them) without over-selling and being annoyingly pushy about it like a lot of companies are. Read moreThis is my first google review, but I'm compelled to let people know that this agency, Tom DeBerry-State Farm, caused me unimaginable stress during the worst thing I could ever go through, which was losing my life partner unexpectedly. They did not act with competency and gave his biological family misinformation that ultimately resulted in me and our beloved pets being kicked out of our home with a 24 hour notice. After I got accurate information from my own, wonderful State Farm branch to coach everyone, DeBerry's agency dragged their heels on getting us back in, including calling with questions even after their own representative came to the property, took photos, etc. I don't know if it's a lack of training, oversight, empathy or what, but it's an experience I won't ever forget and I wish no one to go through.
