We took our dog to Paws VIP weekly for 2 years and bought 3 of their day care packages before we found out their true colors. Who have a 100 lbs high energy dog. When we would pick him up from daycare he would pee for a solid 2 minutes and didnāt seem as tired as when we would take him to places previously. We also NEVER saw him in any online pictures, even when they panned across the whole yard. My husband and I both asked staff if there was an issue at least twice each and were told āno, he must have just been off in another corner.ā The only thing we were told anything was when he had a time out for being rough with another dog which happened occasionally. We usually dropped our dog off around 7:30am and picked him up around 5p. One day, my husband asked the staff if they could wait to put our dog in the yard because he ate late. She laughed and said, āwe never put him in the yard until at least noon!ā Mind you this was when play went only until 3pm. They had been keeping him in a kennel but using our day pass while also lying to us about it for 2 years! This was also confirmed by another manager who said that our dog was a little much for some of the girls to handle (AT A DOGGY DAY CARE!) We stopped going and were trying to decide how to approach them since we still had quite a bit of money on one of the packages left (around $800). They eventually called me to check why our dog had not been in for a while and I asked to speak to the manager. Someone called me and he was a jerk immediately and very defensive. I reminded him that their website claimed to āguarantee 6 hrs of play a dayā but he was getting 3 all while they lied to us for years and kept our pup in a kennel. Whatās worse is we ASKED if there was a problem and were told no. āBoraā offered me a free bath to continue coming and I told him I would not trust him with my dog ever again. He eventually agreed to give us back $300 and are taking our dog to Seattle Canine Club in SoDo. Our pup comes home exhausted and pees a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo Iām changing my review and I wish I had waited before giving this place a 5 star review. Iām not necessarily going to say that this is a bad place to take your dog as Iām sure that most people are thrilled with this service. But as far as taking an extremely high energy puppy I would definitely advise against it. I donāt think this place has the knowledge or understanding staff to deal with the demands of certain breeds. Our dog is an extremely high energy 6 month old Jack Russell and they were not at all understanding about this. He was perfectly kennel trained before going to paws vip and after the second day way started getting reports that he was being kennel aggressive. This didnāt sound like our boy at all and the reports from three different staff members where very inconsistent with each other and no āonline report cardsā were ever filled out by staff. We got everything from āItās not that big a deal and we are used to itā to āHe bites!ā. Finally on the day we were told they could no longer handle him I got a text message from another staff member stating he was having a āGreat dayā. We also had to remind several staff members at least 5 times that he is only 6 months old which they seemed surprised about every time we mentioned it. Further more everyday he was there I searched through their photos and videos on Facebook and Instagram looking for any signs that our little guy was getting plenty of time with the other dogs. Sadly I never saw a single image of him with the other dogs. We were not paying you to kennel him all day. Three stars because Iām sure that itās great for low energy dogs......So in response to the owners rude response to my neutral review which I have now downgraded to one star I will add that our dog has recently been seen by his veterinarian who evaluated his behavior with the kennel. Our vets professional opinion is that he was clearly traumatized and the only thing that was different is that he spent time...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePaws VIP is hands down the best daycare for dogs! From the moment we arrived, I could tell the staff truly cares about every dog that walks through their doors. They take the time to get to know each pupās personality, ensuring they feel comfortable and have a great time.
The facility is spotless, well-organized, and filled with engaging activities. I love that they separate dogs by size and temperament, making sure playtime is both safe and fun whether in a group or individual. The outdoor and indoor spaces are perfect for energetic dogs to run, play, and socialize.
One of my favorite things about Paws VIP is the daily updates and adorable videos and photos they put on social media. Seeing my boy happily playing gives me so much peace of mind while Iām at work. They also do holiday themed photoshoots, my fridge is full of magnets!
The staff is exceptionalāfriendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to answer any questions. They even remember small details about my dogās preferences and quirks, which makes a huge difference.
Paws also has a full service spa, so monthly nail trims happen while he's there! Need a tooth brush, bath? Paws has all that as well! They even have doggie gelato and other special treats you can add to your dogs stay! My boy knows its Friday when he gets his peanut butter kong!!!
If you're looking for a trustworthy, fun, and loving environment for your dog, look no further! I highly recommend Paws VIP to any pet parent who wants the best care for their...
