Some friends were performing thought I'd go an show support an ck the place out first time for me Went on a Thurs night I've read some of the reviews and I'm sitting here scratching my head bcoz I didn't hv a lovely time I don't understand why it wld hv been smokey coz it was outside smoking A tripple shot of Rattlesnake was $8 and it was not made correctly and I stated that fact an instead of trying to correct it it was immediately removed poured out and I was ignored by the barkeep Rattlesnake is wat I like I kno how its made the color and smell the taste I've had several in several different clubs in Tulsa but this kid acted like I had done something terrible to treat me like that Water was $2 for a cheap bottle beer was $4-6 and a mixed drink was $8 I mean if I'd been on a date and the offer was made thats another story but now ya just can't walk into a club an hv a drink w/o paying the cost of a meal I understand beer is 6point so now thr is a hard liquor tax ok but still it is ridiculous to try to go out an hv a good time whn 2 drinks cost the price for a bottle of good Liquor be smarter to hv friends over BYOB Play some tunes BBQ make stronger bonds etc rather than feed a bar your money an not walking away feeling btr than whn you walked in thats just sad almost like prohibition with a twist you can drink if you can afford it for those of you that can more power to you I may not be able to afford drinks but I will still hv myself a fine time oh about the tables with the tall arse chairs they weren't any whr near the stage noone standing around you blocking your view or watevr thr was room to dance several tables w/tall bar chairs truthfully my major problem was the way I was treated I do not like to be ignored whn I am a customer so the girl next to me heard an saw everything grabbed my arm put me behind her an ordered 4 Butterd nipples after her man paid she swung her chair round 2 for you an 2 for me she said she made a toast down they went grabbed the last 2 said something clink and down they went I'm not too big on foofoo drinks but they were...
Read moreWhen you first pull up it seems unassuming but there's plenty of free parking which is nice for a change. There's a small smoking area to sit in out front with a few tables and chairs if you need that. Bring ear plugs because it has a monster p.a. that really hits you in the chest with the band. To me not a bad thing but I could see that putting some people off and it would be a shame to miss out on this place. I can't speak for all the bartenders but the ones I've delt with were very good and attentive. The atmosphere is a cross between cains and the colony if you know those places, if not picture upper mid-sized music venue mushed into small intimate bar. To me it got the better aspects of both with very little of the drawbacks. I also like the fact that it's not in the thick of things so minimal traffic when you're coming and going. Down side for not being right in downtown is no foot traffic so people have to deliberately be going here and around Tulsa most people don't give unknown or local bands chances. so due to the size you occasionally get an empty house feeling. With the right bands though and a good crowd this place...
Read moreThis is the worst venue I have ever been too. The employees were all rude, the crowd was not friendly, the place is filthy, tiny, poor air conditioning and the bar is lacking. Example they ran out of Jager. Like who runs out of Jager? someone spilled a full drink in front of the stage and ON ONE came to mop it up. The handicapped restroom in the ladies room did not flush, there was no soap and the air conditioner or something was spitting water on people around the pool table. Towards the end of the last act they wouldn't sell a Jack n Coke. Jack N Coke. Said we will sell you a shot only. We traveled from Arkansas to see the headlining band but never again. I will travel elsewhere if they come here again and not closer to...
