Bishop Quigley — Restaurant in Tulsa

I was reluctant to venture in this Saturday afternoon but visiting guests thought its online reviews and website made it look promising. They were right! I’ve grown weary of most of the other McNellies Group places. For example, the south side McNellies has deteriorated in food, beer menu, cleanliness, and high beer prices. They no longer offer most world class import beers and instead choose to offer mediocre local and regional stuff. The well-curated beer prices at Bishop Quiglyy were much lower than the other pubs! For example, McNellies South offers Chimay Blue for $15; the price at Bishop Quigly…$10. Go figure. It makes me feel taken advantage for patronizing the southside location. Our server was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu and every beer. Although a limited food menu, everything was great and perfect for a pub! Excellent place to go, in fact the best place in Tulsa if you want high quality fish and chips. They were amazing.

Irish vibe to this place and reminded of a tavern. The staff was great and the manager took time to educate me on Guinness beer. He was very knowledgeable and we did try the beer but for me Guinness is not for me. He did recommend an excellent beer based on what I told him I liked.

Thank you to the owner and the manager for giving me a veterans discount on the food. It was much appreciated and I gave it back to the server in application for the excellent service.

I found out about Bishop Quigley’s by accident and am so glad I did! Upon walking in, I was automatically transported back to England in a cozy pub. One look at the menu and I knew I had to try the fish and chips if it was any translation to the wonderful cozy interior. I quickly ordered my adult beverage and fish and chips and by the time I came back from the bathroom, I was greeted by a piping hot giant fillet of haddock on a bed of crispy chips. You know the places legit when the fish is as big as the platter that they serve it on just like they do in the United Kingdom. And search for a place that serves an excellent fish and chips that is comparable to the UK and this is the closest I found in Oklahoma And Arkansas. I Highly recommended and...
