Level 7 Salon "Total Hair Care" — Local services in Tulsa

The ladies here are nice, it’s not a terrible salon, they do good hair styling but as far as getting true hair care you will have to pay extra (+100) for true hair care. It’s def more expensive than what I’m used to. It was $60 for a silk press then $20 extra to trim, which from the way the service went it was honestly just a regular blow out and flat iron that people usually charge $30 and then $5-$10 extra for a trim. So it’s double the normal price for no extras included, in order to get a deep condition it was also extra money so I didn’t get one.

They ask that you come to the salon already detangled otherwise they will charge you extra to detangle which was something new I’ve never seen or heard of in a professional salon.

Getting my hair done I was a bit upset about a few things. 1. When the woman went to brush my hair after shampooing she was very rough and brushed from the root instead of from the ends. (I have natural hair so I know your hair sheds less when you detangle from the ends) 2. She shaved my hair on the nape of my neck although I did not ask her to and she did not ask me to do so. She just let me know people do that sometimes and before I could even comment she was already doing it. 3. I now have heat damaged hair. I have been getting my hair silk pressed once or twice a year for years and have never gotten heat damage, I follow the same routine to prevent heat damage and I’m so upset to not see my normal beautiful curls revert back. 4. I have been coming here for about 2 years now and I highly recommend this salon! Before coming here, i struggled with finding a reputable stylist here in Tulsa that could help me achieve my hair care goals. At the time I had issues getting my hair to grow as it had be come brittle from a botched perm. I believed I would never be able to return my hair to how it was prior to the perm let alone grow it the length I want that was until I met Myechia. She was willing to work diligently with me throughout the years to help me have healthy hair and achieve my goals; The growth I have experienced from her silk press treatments have made me feel more confident and she is the best stylist I've had in years! I saw myechia a few months ago. Very expensive, and lots of upcharges. The service alone (not including the hair) was almost $400!! She charged me $50 extra for putting in a third bundle (which she only put about a quarter of in).I didn't love it when it was finished... but at the time I mostly blamed the hair i bought. I hadn't used it before, and it wasn't good quality.
