Got to enjoy a trip to Vintage Stock! I really like the place. I enjoy the multitude of different pop culture nerd related items stacked under 1 roof for my convenience. The staff is friendly. The store is laid out well. It's every thing I've come to expect from a vintage stock. I don't love it. But I like it. My major problem, and the reason it gets 4 out of 5 is the price. VS charges a premium on every item they carry. They carry a lot packed into that little store. And it's all very lovely. But you pay top dollar for every bit of merchandise you buy. That's not necessarily bad. The selection makes up for it. But don't expect to walk out loaded down with bargain finds or that elusive key for pennies. There's no victories to be had like that at a vintage stock. But you can find some amazing items here. Especially if you collect comic books and action figures. They generally don't keep an overwhelming stash. But there's usually 1 or 2 really great items to find. The good stuff is kept in the glass case at the back and usually there's a box of keys that haven't made the display. If you ask they'll bring it out and let you rummage while they stand guard and baby sit (what else do you expect in a day and age where any crack head or dirt bag can and will cop it for free and run out the door.) Price aside.. Comics (monthly, current and back issues and keys) Movies Current gen games Ditto consoles Usually a fair spot of vintage games and systems A dab of vinyl (both pop vinyls and records) CD's Posters Japanese anime and manga items Action figures from dc and marvel Sculptures DVD sets and collections and special editions An assortment of card sets viz. Magic and Pokemon And oddly .. swords?! Don't expect top of the line steel here. But links sword. Some knock off samurai weapons. Masks .. etc

You'll find a lot here and you'll enjoy the trio. It's fun and cheerful and always worth while.

Take some money to spend and if you know what you want before hand. Find the top value of that item and take that amount with you. Because they do love to charge...

Update 5/28/22 - never once did the company reach out. Not via email, call, or text. A simple apology would suffice but they can't even do that. 🙄

Update: 4/6/22 On 2/27/22, I filed a review with the company. I never received communication back. If that doesn't tell you what sort of company this is, I don't know what will. It's a shame. A very loving childhood memory that I have with my dead father is gone. Thanks a lot, Vintage Stock.

I was super excited to come here. I was looking forward to buying some new Magic the Gathering cards. Today is 2/27/22 at 12:15 pm. Both employees saw me, I asked for help three times. My finance asked "whats it take to get help down at the Magic Cards" because I had stood there for half an hour. The girl saw me when she helped a father and son find some Pokemon cards RIGHT NEXT TO THE MAGIC CARDS. The guy saw me when he came to throw trash away. When asked what it took to get some help, the guy said "$1,000". So we left all of our stuff on the counter and walked out. As we walked out, the girl said "he could have asked for help" I said "you BOTH saw me back there. I ASKED for help." I will NOT be back.

Edit: OH! Half their toys are broken also. And the place is so disorganized it's a joke. If I had been the manager, the two people there would be terminated.

Review from 2 years ago: 5* -I absolutely love this store. We've been going since I was about 10. I will keep going back! Wish they would bring a location to Muskogee! We seriously need a shop...

Every once in a while I make the rookie mistake of trusting the website regarding what this store has in stock. Almost very single time it's wrong. I've had maybe two instances where the website is correct about what this location has, and 8 or 9 where it says they have a specific game, I go all the way up here because it's the closest Vintage Stock location that has that game, and they don't have it. The first few times I made the MAJOR mistake of asking the employees, and they were of zero help, "the website says we have it" "it's not over there I checked multiple times" "uhhhhh I dunno" It's pathetic that Vintage Stock is the one place I can still reliably find a healthy selection of physical media when the stores are this mismanaged.

UPDATE because it somehow keeps getting worse. I went to one of their buy 2 get 1 sales about a month ago- when I got home one of the movies I bought had an entirely different movie in the slot for disc 2, and just now when I opened and tried to watch a different one, the disc was CAKED with crap. Like I remember renting kids movies from the library in better condition. They don't check trade-ins at ALL, you could hand them an empty case and they'd put it on the shelf and overcharge for...

Vintage Stock is an alright store, but like other retro stores it'll be a hit or miss or rare chance of finding what your looking for. It's very well organized and has tons of options. Only problem I have is the pricing for a good chuck of it, movies/games being pretty steep even when there not that rare. Vintage Stock trades are also ok but seems like low balling pretty often, even when you have a bundle of something brand new in the box and only offering 12$ and then high pricing it later. There was a time I found a copy of Halo 2 aluminum case, it was bent and couldn't close, I asked if they would do a discount, and said they couldn't when the product is damaged clearly and already steep price. It's not a bad store, just has its cons and pros. Great for browsing or getting lucky finding that one rare item or such. Restrooms in the back and front is wheel chair accessible

I always enjoy looking through the TV Series table and had some cool finds, but I can't say as much for the comics section. I like to go into comic book stores to look for one particular series. I always check the main table first and I don't usually find it. So I'll get started in the wholesale area but this recent trip was just frustrating. The boxes were incredibly disorganized. I didn't my target of course but I did see a few that looked interesting. Too bad I couldn't find a single first issue, or I would've left with a nice little stack. All in all the trips to Vintage Stock are always fun, if not a little disappointing. As thanks for reading, here's a dabbing Batman.

A cool place to shop for items from your childhood or to shop for the present time items. I always find something cool here, from DVD's to games to old vinyl to new vinyl there is something for all ages. I would recommend stopping in if you need a hard to find video game for any system or if you want to buy a new system. Staff was very friendly.
