My experience with Sauves
Where do I begin. First, I called to get the jeep towed from the garage since the car wouldn’t go into drive. (Outer cv axle was the issue). Sauve’s told me they’ll call me when the tow gets here since it was on its way to Francis Creek. Not even 5 minutes later, the tow showed up, no call. That wasn’t the issue, but hey it’s here. Cool.
Now to the fun part. Jeep has two different cv axles. One with limited differential and one without it. I had the limited differential cv axle and called sauves to verify it was the right part and explained the two different cv axles. They said it was the correct one since the jeep was all wheel drive. Cool. Fast forward, I got a text saying it was completed, no call. Cool. Went to go pick up the jeep, and it seemed fine.
Literally the next day, the jeep breaks down on the way to work. The new cv axle popped out of the inner shaft. Called sauves, and they said, "Can you put in 4LOW?" I explained and said it’s all wheel drive, and the cv axle popped out. Zimmer towing came and towed again. I got a phone call later saying I ordered the wrong part and needed a longer cv axle. I explained to them that I asked them to verify the old cv axle to the new one before even putting in the new axle.
I went back to AutoZone to order the cv axle without limited differential. I went back to sauves to grab the original cv axle to compare the two but couldn’t since AutoZone had to order the new one. I also left sauves my receipt for the new cv axle.
I then was able to have sauves pick up the part from AutoZone since I had to work. Cool.
The next day after that, there was no phone call from sauves. I called again to see the update. They told me AutoZone had the part, but I needed to pay for it. Note that I actually ordered the part and left sauves my receipt. Sauves then had one of their guys go pick it up.
At this point it’s frustrating.
Now, no phone call. Got a text it was done now. I called to know how much I need to pay. This time, it was more. First time 275$. This time, it is $285 due to the towing. I called to complain that they should be able to give me some type of discount. Sauves declined and said “that’s why we don’t work on customers vehicles who bring in their own part due to this issue.” Sauves never explained that, nor did they verify the old part was the same as the new part. Sauves eventually gave me a discount from 285 to 239. But sauves also said “our mechanic did notice the new part was smaller than the original.” Then explain why they didn’t call me to get the other part and pretty much left me stranded. I never heard “we’re sorry” or anything. Now I had to pay for two cv axles and pay for 2 different towing’s and twice for labor. Terrible experience.
Note: they never verified the cv axles and assumed it was the right one even though I called to make sure. Knowing the axle was smaller and installed it. Tried blaming me for ordering the wrong part and now having to pay for another cv axle and towing.
Also, they had a “declined services” at the bottom of my receipt. Never did they call to inform me about the other issues.
In other words, don’t come here. Go to Ross Auto or Kozlowski. Sauves care more about money than fixing your car.
So, in the end, paid 514$. Could’ve just paid 275. Thank you.
Zimmer Towing did a great job. Sauves, on the other hand,...

Read moreI had a tire issue over the weekend and struggled to find a shop open on a Saturday afternoon. After heading home, I ordered tires online and scheduled a 6:30 AM appointment for Monday, assuming the tires were already at the shop. However, I later realized that my order had gone through Sauve’s supplier, meaning the tires were still in transit. Despite the unexpected delay, Sauve’s team went above and beyond to get me back on the road as quickly as possible. They had my car prepped and ready, ensuring the tires could be installed the moment they arrived. Thanks to their efficiency and dedication, I was able to safely make it to work in Green Bay by 10:30 AM. I truly appreciate their effort and highly recommend...
