Total Care Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine — Attraction in Union City

I have nothing but great things to say about the entire team at Total Care! I am a 42 year old very active and athletic man. I had a complete ACL Reconstruction and a Meniscus Repair 4 months ago. To add a little perspective I am an avid athlete that competes in rigorous athletic competitions as well as a marathon runner. I have a full career but I also have a love project of a side job as a fitness instructor and motivational coach.

From the moment I walked in (on crutches) which was 5 days after surgery, I was welcomed and treated exceptionally. Arthur and the entire team take a lot of time to listen to who you are and what your recovery goals are.

They understood that I am an extremist when it comes to my workouts and how active I am. They knew that I was willing to work as hard as possible and they welcomed my tenacity and determination in getting my knee and leg rehabbed. They continue to add more to my workload and help me to progress back to being in top shape.

Everyone from Pam and the ladies at the front desk, to all of the Doctors (I’ve worked with them all), and all the massage therapists are there everyday caring about every patient that they have. Their team goal is to get you back to being even better than you were before your injury.

They also have a great accupuncture and chiropractor program that you can add into your rehab and recovery to add to your experience and heal better and faster!

I am still working there and I also have both my wife and mother in law now coming here to get relief from their pain and different issues they are going through.

Whatever your needs are coming back from injury/surgery or using PT to avoid a surgical procedure, you can feel confident that Arthur and the entire team here will get you back to being the best version of yourself.

Usually don’t take the time to write reviews but had to for this team here. I had an accident on April 28,2019 and got surgery for acl minescus reconstruction on my right knee as well as I teared a bone inside my knee that need reconstruction. Through 9 months of therapy although I am still rehabbing these guys have been short of amazing. Since day 1 Arthur (the owner) and every staff member has been nothing but supportive, they have become almost family members. They genuinely care about you and want you to recover. They don’t rush you out of their business like most therapy places and let you/encourage you to stay 2-3 hours if that is what you need to do to get better. They have the most amazing massage therapist, Johny being the best massage therapist I have ever encountered anywhere, who work on you thoroughly to relax your muscles and make you feel better before or after the physician therapists - Arthur, Jermaine, Hero - work on you. The receptionists are the best in that they are proactive in reminding you of your appointments and keep you motivated and on your feet to come in which helps on those days one gets lazy and is thinking about skipping it. Arthur worked with me in the beginning when my insurance company declined to make the visits in network which he didn’t have to do as his overall goal was to see me get better. Overall just a top notch quality therapy and massage service, wayyy above the other 3 places I tried. Most other therapy places have become corporations and just care about how many patients they can see in a day and get them out as quickly as possible...not this place. ...

I had severe shoulder pain and was recommended to see Physical Therapist Artur Mullakandov. I live in Queens NY and took a 30-minute ride on Sunday to see this wonderful, clean, well-maintained facility and was welcomed with a receptive front desk staff that was polite, warm, and extremely accommodating. Thereafter, I met the PT, Artur who had examined me to understand the nature of my injury. Subsequently, Jonathan, who has amazing manual therapy skills, did some work on my bicept and shoulder area. I immediately felt so much better. Thank You Jonathan. Thereafter, I was introduced to Andrew, who does the acupuncture. I must admit, this was the first time in my life that I had done acupuncture and was never really a believer of western medicine, but I must say, Andrew did an incredible job. He was very professional, very observant and checked up on me every 2 minutes to ensure I was doing well. The facility is equipped with many different machines which are all too many to name, but my favorite was the traction machine that did an amazing job flexing my spine. Can’t say enough great things about the people that work here. Everyone knows what they are doing, very professional, very caring. You can tell that they love what they are doing and care greatly about their clients. I highly recommend this place to everyone. They get 10...
