RLA Video Games — Attraction in Union Township

My brother and I had a fantastic experience this past Sunday at RLA Video Games with Chris. We brought in a large part of our childhood collection—around 300 items including consoles, video games, accessories, Blu-rays, DVDs, and even VHS tapes—for trade.

Chris was incredibly thorough and professional. He spent about three hours with us, carefully checking and pricing every item to make sure they worked and were properly valued. The amount we received for the trade was very fair—actually more than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise.

What impressed us even more was how Chris handled everything solo. Despite being the only employee there, he managed to assist other customers while still giving our collection the time and attention it needed.

This WOULD be a five star up until recently. The owner is always super friendly and provides excellent service—I’ve never had a problem with him.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with a new hire (at least I hope he was!!!) was very negative. I came in asking about a rechargeable battery pack I had seen a couple of weeks earlier inside a Wii remote on the shelf, which the owner had personally shown to us.

The new hire refused to check the ones on the shelf, then called the owner and tried to sell us an entire charging station with battery packs that weren’t compatible. When I explained that wasn’t what we were looking for, he became agitated and, in a very unprofessional tone, insisted: “THIS is what you need, I literally just talked to the owner, it has TWO inside of it.”
