Stole my credit card info and used it to make fraudulent charges against my accounts. I actually used a prepaid service to book my room to avoid handing out my actual account cards. My reservation was pre-approved. I did find it strange that the front desk clerk asked to see the physical card I made the reservation with. There was a card reader available to my left I expected to use. He gave me my room key and I headed to my room. Just minutes later, there was a knock at my door to say my prepaid card declined. I found that strange because the reservation was pre-approved before I left home and he had already given me room keycards as though it cleared at check-in too. He said sometimes the prepaid cards don’t always authorize like they are supposed to. Rather than struggle with that card, I just switched over to my debit card. Again, he asked to see the physical card first, then directed me to finish the transaction on the card reader to my left. While I’m doing that, a younger male had come to the desk whispering to ask the clerk I was working with if he had gotten the credit card. The clerk I was working with kind of shushed him and said yes. I didn’t know if maybe when the prepaid card declined, he had maybe called someone to cover the front desk while he left to get me. Again, I shrugged off my insecurities. I was already having second thoughts when I reached the hotel because it looked somewhat deserted and sat away from the main road. I just didn’t want to lose my money because my reservation was non-refundable. The hotel and the rooms appeared much better online and I felt catfished. The foyer was dim and the clerk wasn’t readily at the front desk to greet me as I’ve been accustomed to. The hallway to the rooms looked old. The hotel smelled old and musty. When I reached my room, the smell of mold overpowered the mustiness. The bed seemed crunchy and loud. The shower had a huge mold stain on the ceiling above it. I just kept telling myself, it’s one night. I was there overnight Saturday 10/12/24 to Sunday 10/13/24. Monday 10/14/14 was a holiday. By Tuesday, my bank account showed two fraudulent charges to Levi Canada that I had not made. I immediately suspected the hotel. I wasn’t sure how I could prove it. Later when checking a statement from the prepaid card I first wanted to use, I noticed an attempted, but declined charge for Levi Canada. That is not a coincidence. Read moreI got there around 2 o’clock in the morning. I came down from Akron to help my mom and I had to admit her into the hospital. I wasn’t able to stay at her place because of the condition it was in and the lady at the front desk said that they had availability so I booked room 202 paid for it and when my son and I got up there, there was dust all over the place. The door wouldn’t shut properly. The door frame was messed up. There was paint chips and dust all over the floor. The window was completely broken. Had my son touched the window. He would’ve cut himself. The air conditioner was not working when we woke up in the morning. There was water all over the center of the floor. It was absolutely filthy. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and I don’t know how long I’m. I’m assuming that room was not cleaned since the last time it was booked I spoke to Boris. He was the person that I addressed my concerns with. He offered me a 10% discount to which I said that that was not enough. The room should’ve never been rented under those circumstances had my son hurt himself or had I hurt myself you guys would be looking at a lawsuit. It was absolutely appalling, and I feel as though my desperate situation for a place to stay was taken advantage of and that that particular site stole $116 from me I want a reimbursement. I was there for seven hours and I couldn’t use anything because of how disgusting it was just the absolute worst experience at a comfortInn usually I don’t have a problem with them which is why I chose to stay there site unseen, and I didn’t even think about reading the reviews if you go on Google and read the reviews about that particular site I am not the only one I’m one of many that think it should not be operational because it is not in the condition to be operational I want to reimbursement that’s the only way that it’ll get better that I will feel justified. Read moreMe and my husband checked in about 10 PM on a Friday night. We got our keys. We went to our room tried our keys. They did not work. We went back to the front desk. Told the guy that was at the desk that could not speak English very well so we was having trouble understanding him that our keys did not work. He made new keys. We went to our room again and once again the keys did not work so we then went back to the front desk, where the gentleman was on his cell phone the whole time from the check-in to now reset our keys we go down one key finally worked so we got into the room the room wasn’t that nice. It had a smell to it. Musty smell wasn’t cleaned very well but then we went out to our vehicle got our stuff and we were at the end of the building where there was an exit and an entrance door. We got are belongings tried to come back through the same door and the keys did not work. Had to walk all the way around to the front entrance. We asked the same guy that we have been dealing with. If the key things didn’t work after a certain time he informed us no, they’re all broken. You can’t enter the building other than the main entrance so we go to our room once again our keys are not working. We go tell him he comes down himself and takes a master key and lets us in our room tells us he will be back with new keys 45 minutes later we got our stuff and we went to the front desk. He’s sitting there on his cell phone once again. We tell him that he never brought us our keys he said that we was supposed to come get them I told him that he told us he was going to bring them back and at this point we’re done.So we told him that we wanted to cancel are reservations and we was going to another hotel he told us that we couldn’t cancel it because there was no manager there for us to talk to we told him that we were leaving and we should not get charged for all the stuff that we have gone through he told us that he couldn’t do that we would have to call and talk to a manager on Sunday.
