A single star rating is too generous for this place. I had the unfortunate need to get an interlock installed in my car last week and my experience was just horrible. At first the guy in charge, a "Mr." Duke would not answer any questions about the use of the device and my car would not start. He looked at me as I struggled with the device for a full 10 minutes and in desperation, I went over and appealed for help. He told me to find a youtube video then changed his mind and asked for my phone. He pretended to search for a video but the first thing he did was subscribe me to his youtube channel without asking for my consent. He then gave me my phone back and proceeded to tell me how to use the device as if I was wasting his time....But the worst was still to come. When I went to the NJ MVC yesterday morning I was told that the Duke had omitted to include one of the required forms in the paperwork. The MVC gave me a fax number where the Duke could send he docs but this shop has no fax machine. So I drove 50 miles back to autosound and was made to wait for one and a half hours and then handed back the requisite form without an apology or any remorse whatsoever. Read moreHonestly if I could give this place 0 stars I would. First Reason is because I came in to get a subwoofer installed into my car today and they took ridiculously long. I dropped it off at 8AM and didn’t get it back until 5:30PM. The customer service was not good at all. One of the mechanics kept saying that the high to low part for the subwoofer I bought is defective. That I needed to pay for the part he sells. I get it electrical parts can be defective out the box but every time I asked for him to explain he kept walking away from me like he was avoiding the conversation. Another thing I found rude/disrespected about is that even though they knew the unit they installed was defective. They refused to remove it because “it will take to much time”. To me that is not polite customer service at all and is no way to treat a customer. They rushed putting it together in the end. Wires not put into the amp properly. Looks a mess. Things all over the place. Reason I write this review is because I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I did with such rude and disrespectful customer service. Read moreI initially stopped by to inquire about installing a new radio in my 2005 Honda Accord and met Duke, the owner who couldn’t be more honest. Turns out this is a very common issue after discussing options, I suggested I’d prefer to replace with the same factory radi that I could get on eBay , not an add-on kit with bezel. There was no hard sell and he simply said, bring it in and we’ll install it for $xx. After 2 weeks when I got the radio, I stopped in, he was very courteous, had a few customers ahead of me but then swapped out the replacement radio/AC controls in no time. Nice and clean, no marks around the dashboard. Perfect job and at an awesome price. No sales pitch to install a newer radio with Bluetooth and bells and whistles. Duke and the crew are honest, hard working guys who deserve all of the positive reviews they get. Definitely will be back for a remote starter on my other car. RT22W.
