We hiked in from the entrance off of north shore drive just past Estate Lindholm. We chose this route because it was closer. It was a mistake. This route is steep and rocky. Once arriving at the beach shade is in very short supply. Access in and out of the water that is not going over rocks is very limited. Snorkeling was poor. There was very little marine life and the reef is completely dead. We were there about 5 hours. When we arrived there were 15 to 20 people. When we left around 2pm we had the beach to ourselves. Read moreBeautiful beach about 20 minutes hike from the park office. It's not a challenging hike per say but children, elderly, and out-of-shape persons (like myself) may find it challenging. That being said, totally worth it. View is beautiful, snorkeling is out of this world even though apparently the reef sustained damage during the hurricane, and is about 20 minutes away from Honeymoon. No chairs or facilities so pack the former and hike to Honeymoon for the latter. Highly recommend bringing large amounts of water as the beach is exposed most of the day...

Few things to keep in mind - this is a “wild” beach, so no chair services or cervezas, but the fact that most days you can have beach for yourselves is well worth it! Small Tip: most ppl complain about the “monster” hike required - use Lower Lind Point Trail (a 300 ft longer, and mostly flat - still a decent workout) v.
