My husband and I just spent 6 days at Estate Lindholm to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. The Estate is gorgeous with lush landscaping and sweeping Cruz Bay views making it the perfect setting for an intimate vacation. Breakfast was provided early each morning 7-10am which was perfect for us early birds so we could fuel up, caffeinate and hit one of the several gorgeous hikes on the island (Ram’s Head is a must!) The room was spacious and we appreciated the small refrigerator / kitchen area to keep snacks cold for the beach. The property also offered several other amenities at no cost or low cost that cannot go unmentioned including: - large ice machine for packing cold drinks for the beach (free) - a cooler provided in your room (free) - beach towels (free) - beach chairs (free) - noodles for floating (free) - snorkel gear (cheap daily or weekly rental) - honor bar with assorted beers, liquors, sodas (low cost compared to the bars) Tim (office manager) helped fit my snorkel gear and provided lots of great tips for places to 🤿 or hike. Having grown up on the island he was just a text away for recommendations on closest grocery, laundry facility etc. Brian (owner) was a pleasure as well. Offering wonderful stories and insights into the properties’ history and made us feel like part of the Estate Lindholm family. 💕 Five stars doesn’t seem sufficient to detail how wonderful our stay was on St John. We thoroughly enjoyed every day, are already talking about our next trip, and cannot recommend Estate Lindholm more highly!

My wife and I stayed at the Estate Lindholm (Hawksnest Room) during our honeymoon after Christmas 2022. We could not have asked for a better experience! Breakfast - They have just as many food options as any standard hotel would offer. The owners, Brian or Laney, would sit nearby at the breakfast patio each morning asking about our plans for the day and offering suggestions. This was also a great time to causally meet other guests which we felt gave a unique personal touch to our stay. Staff - We really appreciate the staff taking time out of their busy days to say hello. Tim, the hotel manager, was always available and hooked us up with snorkel rentals for the week (great value!) Our housekeeping was excellent and the property’s garden was beautiful. Room - The balcony had a direct view of Cruz Bay which speaks for itself. Inside we had a small kitchen bar (fridge/microwave/ice on site) and great Wifi throughout. Location - This is something we didn’t really consider when booking the Estate Lindholm but we quickly appreciated during our stay. Their location is convenient with it being so close to Cruz Bay and sits on the N Shore Road that leads to the national park. You can also hike straight to Honeymoon Beach from the property. Plenty of parking on site. When staying in St. John, being near Cruz Bay is probably the best option since you are close to restaurants, bars, and shops. Thank you Brian, Laney, Tim, and many others for helping us have a wonderful honeymoon!

Excellent place to stay for a quiet and conveniently located property. Stayed in a harbor/ocean view room that did not disappoint. View was wonderful, we enjoyed coffee on the balcony in the morning and wine while listening to the live bands in town below at night. There is a basic breakfast available daily, which was perfect for our needs. We rented the basic, but perfect for our needs, snorkel gear. The free beach chairs, floats, towels and cooler use was a nice perk for our daily trips to the beach. That saved on rentals at the beach which can add up. Nice hiking trails are about 3 minutes up the hill, you can access beaches or town via these trails. Pool and deck have nice views and seldom more than a few people utilizing them. There are a few beers, sodas and wine to purchase if needed, but we got most of ours from the market in town. The property is really well maintained by very friendly grounds keepers. The short walk to town is a little tough if you don’t want to get too hot. It also is very busy with no shoulder. I would not walk it at night. Would be nice, but maybe not realistic to build stairs or a side trail to connect to the lower trail to be more safe and accessible to get into town. Would definitely return to this location again. If your looking for a quiet, beautiful property this is for you. If you want all the amenities that go with a large full service, on the beach resort, this is not that.

We spent 3 glorious nights here at the end of our weeklong STJ vacation and thoroughly enjoyed every second of our time at this idyllic inn. ||From the lush landscaping and friendly gardener Leo, to the genuinely kind manager Tim, who made us feel welcome, the breathtakingly beautiful views in almost every direction, and Mason the resident cat, all added to the ambiance. Details like the conch shells mixed in the intricate stone work, fresh flowers placed with shells along the walkways, ample outdoor shared spaces for guests to dine or relax, the self serve honor bar to grab a drink and charge it to your room, and the heavenly chorus of the Coqui frogs every night was a gift from nature to cherish. ||Our room, Waterlemon, one of their newest additions to the property, was spotlessly clean and with to die for views of the harbor and beyond. We loved relaxing on the covered balcony with a large sliding screen door to allow the fresh air in. The turquoise ocean views and watching the variety of boats and ferries passing by all day was a highlight of staying here. We only used the A/C while sleeping and the unit was exceptionally quiet! The King bed was comfortable and overall we loved our room. ||As regulars to STJ for vacations over the past 16 years, but first time guests at Estate Lindholm, the biggest benefit of Estate Lindholm is Location, location, location!!!! In minutes you can be swimming or snorkeling at any of the stunning North Shore beaches or shopping and dining in Cruz Bay. ||Tim (and his cat Mason) was the most welcoming host and we highly recommend staying here! We will definitely be back on our next...
