Limericks Tavern — Restaurant in Upland

I was there today for St Paddy day arrived at 10:30am so I can get in before the big crowd. Everything was going great so I spent lots of money to support the venue. tipped my bartender 40% because she worked hard today. Time to leave so I was closing my tab. The manager short overweight female standing beside began yelling at me. Her words, " You better not drive" And because it was very loud in the venue and I have a hearing impairment, I could not understand what she was trying to convey to me. She repeated the same verbiage, but I still could not understand. Suddenly, she called for a security person to have me removed from the premises. The security person grabbed my arm to direct me toward the door, I asked politely to not become physical and he complied. The supposed owner came over and said I must leave. I explained the situation and he said he would speak to her about it. My feelings are being unappreciated since I visit Limericks often and have lunch/dinner with my mother and wife and spend hundreds of dollars. So now today Im being removed for a reason that doesn't make sense. I was embarrassed during the ordeal since I'm a well known upstanding resident of our community. I will be seeking consultation with my family attorney for possible lawsuit filing of defamation of character against Limericks ownership/employee conduct. Hardly Irish. Waited for a menu after asking. Bar maid didn't hear me well and repeated, but it never came. Bar maid whisked off to serve the regulars. I had about 40 people coming in part of my party from the airport that flew in from Canada, and I wanted to pre-order appetizers for everyone prior to their arrival. After waiting for the maid to come near me or be able to garnish attention to her, I texted the rest of my party that we would have to find another place. I finished my pint, and I left. I'm sure the foods are delicious. Looked it anyway. Very locals, Bar. You won't get the best of service if you're a new person. However, the regulars were well taken care of, and what pub blast country music? Lost out on a minimum $800 sale as Pints around $10. Times that by 40 x 2 per person would be $800 in drinks alone. Plus what we would of spent in food. Huge loss. But your regulars looked happy. Came in hungry, left...

Paid 38$ for 2 items total. Shepherds Pie and Corn Beef and Cabbage and the portion size does not match and neither does the manner they packaged one of the items. The shepherds pie arrives in a cardboard box which seems fine, but when opened, the pie is in a makeshift foil bowl and not sealed with a cover. The only lid was the closed top of the cardboard box. The pie is soupy and spilled into the box. The empty space in the box was ridiculous and the portion size for the soup was disappointing.

I gave good reviews with my last visit and realize one of these visit was a fluke. 38$ wasted on a small portions that were supposed to be a meal and one of them needed to be scooped up out of the box. When examining the reason for it spilling, turned out it was because the container of corned beef and cabbage was on top of the box and the lid of the box collapsed and bent the foil over which allowed the content...
