Mine is a simple order: a Bacon Daybreak Sandwich with extra bacon. (This simple menu item consists of scrambled egg, American cheese, and ONE choice of meat, either: bacon, sausage, or ham, on a toasted potato bun). I go there 2 to 3 times a week for this same order for breakfast. I only eat one time a day so I would really like it to be made the way I order it. For the past six weeks it has been made wrong every single time. The person that takes the order inputs it into the system correctly but, the person cooking the order clearly does not understand what they're doing. So, let me remind you, I ORDER a Bacon Daybreak Sandwich with extra bacon. What I RECEIVE is a Bacon Daybreak Sandwich with a giant piece of patty SAUSAGE on it! WTH? Nowhere on the receipt does it say the word sausage. Nowhere on the menu does it say that a bacon Daybreak sandwich has sausage on it. Nowhere on the website does it have a Bacon Daybreak Sandwich with sausage on it. That item does not exist at any Farmer Boys restaurant unless you special order it that way, which I DO NOT. Each time, the order-taker (not always the same person), explains to me that they entered the order into the system correctly. They even point it out on the receipt. Every time they tell me that the cook isn't reading the order correctly. They shake their heads sadly and say it happens all the time. Now, I could understand the cook making an error if I ordered a Bacon Daybreak Sandwich with NO bacon, and they accidentally put bacon, maybe. Or, maybe no cheese. But I don't understand how the cook can read the order wrong in a way that would make them ADD an item to a sandwich, when that item is not even written on the order! How do you add a piece of sausage to an item when sausage was not only not written on the order but not even supposed to be put on the sandwich in the first place? That is like me ordering an omelette with cheese but instead getting an omelet with a salad in the middle of it! Or how about this, I order a milkshake and the cook mis-reads it and puts a piece of fried catfish in the middle of it! I know this sounds silly. I know it sounds like I'm going overboard. It is silly and I am going overboard. But let me tell you why: this is an ongoing problem and I can't possibly be the only one that this is happening to. Why doesn't somebody fix it? Why doesn't someone talk to the cook? Clearly, this is an ongoing problem. The order takers at the window say this happens a lot with this cook. Why won't anyone fix it? This is not rocket science. This is not brain surgery. This is a breakfast sandwich. A. BREAKFAST. SANDWICH. This world is going to hell in a handbasket! (I'm being a little sarcastic, a little funny, and a little serious) Oh, and I feel very sorry for the order takers that have to deal with this problem. I am very nice about it with them. It's not their fault. But I'm sure there are many other customers that are not nice.
And yes, I could go to a different Farmer Boys. I don't want to. This is the closest one to me. I shouldn't have to go to another one. The problem should be fixed here at this one. If I go to another Farmer Boys, this problem just gets ignored again. Sure, it would be fixed for me, but what about the other people that it's happening to? It needs to be fixed HERE. I mean really, just fix it. Fix...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis used to be our favorite Farmer Boys location untill recently. This is the fourth visit that they made mistake on our order. Mistakes happen and I make a point not to be impolite because we all have our days and I have worked in food service myself. That said, the attitude its met with is what I care most about. We asked for two "big cheese" burgers for our kids, both plain. When the food arrived one was plain, and the other standard. No big deal but our kids are kids and picky. We asked for a plain burger and were immediately met with an annoyed look by the woman who takes the food from the cooks to the tables. She claimed they only had one ordered that way and my husband said he would be happy to pay for another. I had the receipt and showed her that their were two very clearly ordered plain. The attitude continued and she even tried to dispute what was clearly shown on my receipt. aWhen we finally received the burger it was a far cry from what we paid for. Dry, burnt edges, burnt bun completely different from what my daughter received. I thanked her after taking the plate and she ignored me and pivoted to the kitchen. You dont punish kids because you made an error. That is absolutely disgusting behavior. That was completely intentional. We left the food at the table and walked out. Do not come to this Farmer Boys location if youre looking for good service. Mistakes I can understand, bad attitudes I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy wife and I came here with my grandmother and had a wonderful experience. My grandmother doesnāt eat a whole lot and knows that the portions are fairly huge. So when we got up to the counter to order, she ordered the Cobb Salad, but asked if she could have half now and the other half to go. The employee, Daniel, responded quickly with āNot a problem, we can do that for you.ā After we all ordered and the food came, Daniel brought out the to go portion of her salad, neatly packaged and in a bag and said, āI didnāt include any dressing because I didnāt want it to open up and spill everywhere. Let me know when youāre leaving and Iāll take care of you.ā We finished our meal and when we were ready to leave, Daniel was repositioned and working the drive thru window. When we approached the counter, he stopped what he was doing and got us some dressing and thanked us for coming.
The food was great as always, but thatās not what Iāll remember about my visit. Iāll remember the quality time we spent with my grandmother and the AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE delivered by Daniel. He went above and beyond his duties to make sure we had an enjoyable experience. Thank you Daniel, a future manager...
