ALDI Distribution Center — Attraction in Upper Saucon

04:00 appointment. I checked in at 04:00 I was rolling out the gate at 06:30. Checking in with security was painless, dealing with the lumper crew was also a breeze. Only so called issue had to do with how the freight was loaded. They notified me of the issue before they proceeded with the unloading process, asked was I good with the restacking fee? I said yes and the work got done. Everything was really easy because I was able to pay with a card. I've already gotten reimbursed by the broker. Compared to a lot of the disrespect and bad attitudes that we come in contact with this location doesn't even rank on the under performing list. In regards to there not being any light on the dock doors nor any painted lines. Yeah it's not a good look for a major company like Aldi not to take the basic steps to assist in helping to keep everyone safe and equipment and property damage free by providing more light and guide lines. However, in this case the complaint was greatly over blown. I don't care how many people noted the issue. Bumping their dock was such easy work compared to so many unspeakable stunts I've had to pull over the years to get a customer their product. Your four ways should be on the entire time you're driving in their yard anyway but if they're not definitely put them on while you're approaching the dock. If you're backing "slowly ", the light from your four ways will suffice to get you on the dock. As far as the yellow lines, more than likely you'll be maneuvering between two trucks. The fact that you're backing in between two trucks... That reality will force you to be straight!!! No need for yellow lines. My experienced peers please forgive me for stating the obvious, but read the comments and you'll see that several people noted that complaint. Smh. Bottom line based upon my experience this Aldi location is a solid drop. No need to avoid this location....

OK ALDI. MANAGEMENT. And drivers you need to take note of this facility it is very unsafe very disorganized I do not blame the guards or the Guard Shack./ MANANEMENT You have a serious problem here on the organization on the lighting it is very very unsafe there is an accident waiting to happen here., you’re scheduling for an example is outrageous, for real ALDI MANAGEMENT. You have up to 100 or more so trucks come in all at the same time. Again very disorganized here drivers suggestion they have four lines coming into the facility getting one of those lines and you move up slowly when you get up close to the line go up to the office and get A yellow or orange form to fill out with your information then you proceed up to the stop sign slowly one person at a time in the office be patient with the Guard ladies they’re doing the best they can it’s the ALDI-‘s management that is messed up. And put them in a high stress situation. After you get in the office they will assign you a door or you pull forward 100 yards to the right there is parking for at least 10 trucks and they will call you to give you a door,, after they give you a door for refrigerated you check in by door 78 at the trailer for the LUMPER price. Pull out when you have a green light and find parking elsewhere they will call you when your paperwork is completed. So drivers be patient with the staff it is not their fault I’d blame ALDI. MANAGEMENT. For this disaster at this location I delivered to all the ALDI-‘s all 48 states besides this one OLATHE, KANSAS racks right up there with this one and Denton Texas. . ALDI.
