Southampton Shopping Center — Attraction in Upper Southampton Township

Very, very misleading that I am supposed to give a review on an entire shopping center. I frequent the shopping center often because we go to Roman delight, which is a Italian restaurant with pizza and sandwiches. We go there often and we like their food. There are other shops in the shopping center including an Osaki, Japanese and Chinese restaurant, there is a five below, there is a pet store for pet accessories, there is a salad Works, there is a wine and spirits, and I'm sure many other stores that I can't recall right now. I am not going to review all of these stores because I don't have good information on all of them. However, they are asking me to review the shopping center. To that end, there are groups of 11, 12,13 and 14-year-old kids that ride their bicycles in the shopping center on a daily basis they pull wheelies they're obnoxious they're loud they're inconsiderate they yell at the cars, they ride out in front of the cars. If you blow your horn at them to move them out of the way because they're blocking your path while you're driving, they curse you out and it's an ongoing problem that numerous people have brought to the attention of the owners of the shopping center, and also to the local police department. Nobody seems to want to do anything with this because as long as the kids are someplace where they're not "getting into trouble", then I guess everything is just fine and dandy. Wait till one of these kids get whacked by a car and sent to the hospital and then it's going to be everybody's fault except the parents. I would love to know where the parents are and why they aren't keeping their kids home when they know that there is an ongoing problem and their kids are up at the shopping center causing these problems. I think it's time somebody does something about this and stop putting it off on somebody else. The Upper Southampton Police Dept. should take control of this problem maybe go and start confiscating the bike bikes and turning the bikes over to the parents with a warning saying that next time I have to pick this bike up or talk to your son there's going to be repercussions and you're not going to like it. Take a tough stance instead of bending over backwards to make sure that the kids have a "place to play".
