No flower but they seem to have vapes to no end. Doesn't make much sense to me unless these are products that weren't selling as much elsewhere. Super Disappointing. Why so many vapes and no actual marijuana flower. Seems like there would have to be flower to make vape juice. Some of the vapes make you teeth feel sticky and they go rather quickly in comparison to flower. Also they are charging way too much for everything but especially cbd. Plainjane.com has it way cheaper. The times that I have been there I have seen people walk out looking very displeased. If you look online, the Chicago location seems to have flower for rec use way more often for some reason. The service is good and the people are nice which is why I gave them the extra star (2). Much of this scarcity of flower may be more the fault of how the state is rolling this out, rather than that of numed. Its supposed to be a slow roll out a but I mean come on, they say that the supply has to be in balance with demand in order to create a healthy market, which I agree. but what did they think?... That there wouldn't be much demand for actual THC weed flower??? One might think that you could simply look at past criminal justice statistics in order to see the demand has been here. Its not like our local dispensaries are just running out every once in a while either. Other than on 4/20 they never have any THC flower for rec use. Seems like, for one reason or another, that the state is creating a false scarcity of something that should be abundant but it could just be a legit underestimation. I did hear however that on may 1st illinois is supposed to issue more licenses to cultivators and that soon after the existing cultivators are looking to expand their operations. Anyways I am still very unsatisfied. Wish it were legal to grow my own but someone has to be making money right? I hope to be able to change this post in the future but only time will tell if this market will become more reasonably priced and if they will quit pushing vape and other marijuana derived products more than the actual unprocessed pure flower of the plant itself....
Read moreIt’s hard to be a human being. Which is why it means so much when people are kind. The people that work at Urbana NuEra take the time to see me and let me know that I am worth something. It can change my whole day and has many times. As a medical patient, I come here to get relief from depression and anxiety. For me, pot gives me a break from relentless internal criticism. It’s a part of my journey and process to come to NuEra and try different things so that I can have moments of peace in my mind. It’s a personal process. The entire staff have always been very helpful with suggestions and questions about what I need. I don’t feel silly asking a question here. Abi is a grounded soul who always has time to inquire if I am getting what I need and listen with kindness to whatever ramblings come out of my mouth that day. I appreciate that. I became a medical patient through this store and what I thought would be an overwhelming process was very simple. I save a lot of money now. They even printed out my card and laminated it for me. I am on a budget and can always find something I can afford in their huge selection. I live with an elderly relative and don’t always want to smell like smoke around them. They have a big selection of drinks and capsules, as well. Coming here is a part of my healing ritual, in trying to be free from overwhelming pain. The people that work here are a part of that ritual. I’m grateful for all of the little and big acts of kindness I see every time I walk through this door. Every time I walk out, I already feel better. Thanks to everyone that works here....
Read moreWell, this place used to be great but service is slow and long wait as new patients are accepted and take large amounts of time to be educated while people wanting to place an order must wait. Very frustrating to say the least but when you ask manger she has the worst attitude and is down right rude and condescending towards the customers.
Tina the manager has removed all loyalty programs servicing lower income families and raised prices to a 100 percent profit margin. In the past we could call in our order and it would be ready for pickup but this is no longer an option as it was just convenient for the customers so it had to be removed.
Since I switched to our other option here and it is nice having a choice; I must say, it was a good move.
At Phoenix Botanical you have an excellent reward program with 15% off every tenth visit and a free gram on your tenth as a loyalty program. Write a review, get a free gram. Friendly staff with better prices and quality selection. Online ordering for quick service.
Consider switching or not selecting Numed as your choice and take it from me personally, it’s just not worth it. There are better options! Switch today, you have choices and it’s easy! Give it a try! Only takes 24 hours to switch and you can be buying from...
