Target — Attraction in Vadnais Heights

First of all, I love Target. This review is targeted at this location. Yesterday, I visited the family restroom inside the entrance, the one where parents send their children and bring babies in to change. There was a box cutter left on the sink, which I assume was left by an employee. I returned it to the greeter immediately. I may have left it alone, but my experience with employees in this store has been poor and I wonder if there is a lack of leadership and/or training. A month ago I came in to pick up an online order. They gave me a bag that was missing half the order, in addition while I was looking at the items at the counter i noticed that the container of 3M hooks had been opened (obvious) and 5 were missing. The employee resolved it after I pointed it out, but all of this could have been caught with one look/check of the order before giving to the customer. Next, when picking up an order at another time, the interactions between employees in front of the customer (me) was childish and unprofessional, even embarrassing. I hope this review is read and that changes can be made for future...

Employees are severely mistreated here. I worked here and quit here just recently and when I went to pick up my check today I got 12.93. For 2 weeks pay. I'm a single mother and of course I demanded to have this fixed as my daughter and I couldn't buy a days worth of groceries with that check. I talked to Jessica who is severely incapable of doing her job and she told me I have to wait till next Friday for her mistake. I told her I wanted a number to call so I could fix this since she wasn't equipped. She gave me a number but very rudely told me there was nothing I could do at all whatsoever. I called the number and my check was ready today. Then, "mysteriously " she couldn't retrieve the vouture to get me paid. So after she touched my account it got all screwed up. How convenient. Buyer beware also, if I were you I'd travel the extra mile to go to another target. This place has nothing to choose from and their employees are given very little hours to live on and slave pay. If I could give this place 100 negative star review I would. DO NOT GO HERE TO WORK...

This has always been my least favorite location, but of course it’s the closest one to my house. They are not well stocked to begin with, but my visit yesterday is what did it for me. I have had the cashier price adjust to match the online price in the past. If that policy has changed, not a big deal, I get it. But yesterday I had an employee accuse me of forging the price when I tried to showing her the online price. Scrolling in the app and on Safari and she still thought I had forged the price (a huge savings of $2.50). It’s one thing to explain a policy, it’s another thing to accuse a customer or forgery.

Coming back to update because this location has clearly done nothing to better train their employees. I was looking for an item three days ago that was “in stock” at this location and it wasn’t on the shelf. I went back today and it still wasn’t on the shelf. An employee checked and confirmed they had 7 in stock and said “I could check, but it would take too long, just come back...
