Love Books-a-Million and the staff are always kind, but the bathrooms here are the most disgusting public restrooms I've used in ages. It's been this way for years. The store will look immaculate and organized but heaven forbid you have to urinate, then you're stuck with wobbly dirty toilets, dingy stained flooring, gross torn wall paper, and no toilet paper in any of the three usable stalls. The fourth stall has been 'out of order' for like six months now.

I recently visited Books A Million at 1705 Norman Dr C, in Valdosta, GA. Parking was easy and plentiful as well as the access to the business. The amount of books was fantastic to see when walking in. I asked one of the employees where a type of book was located and she directed me to its location. There was no problem with check out. A nice place to shop for books.

At this entire plaza BAM had to be the best thing there. The book variety was kind of spread out. For example they have two different religious sections. At most BAMs I have visited they only have one section. The staff are nice and will help if you need anything.

The district manager Mark has a very distasteful attitude! When we arrived and met mark it appeared that the "polo shirt " he was wearing had more wrinkles then a 90 year old dried up prune his shirt was so discolored that it showed signs of heavy tar from smoking and is in serious need of replacing his Jeans were not much better with what appeared to be yellowish and brown stains all on them as well as holes Mark verbally attacked a wis international inventory associate who has dyslexia and autism! I mean just nonstop verbal attack after another mark and his pirates failed to prepare the store appropriately mark and his pirates never removed any products that had recalls or remove from shelf listings his belief is it's the inventory crews responsibility about a quarter of the stores products had multiple skews in which were either inactive or nonfunctional the heavy set samoan man refused to properly attach new skews on the products needing the new skews mark was to invested in having his nose shoved up an older white lady with a red shirt and dirty blond hairs rear end he was so involved with this employee that shoplifters were stealing right in front of him and when he was advised he wanted the wis international inventory associates to "follow/stalk" the individuals instead of monitoring his store and stores integrity Mark trampled all through the store for roughly 9 hours harassing every inventory associate who was sent to that store location meanwhile he was actually letting products walk out of the store myself and a coworker witnessed a man who appeared to a "gothic" with black trench coat and man purse walk in with a flattened black man purse when he exited his man purse was full mind you he never went through the check out another couple must have entered and exited 7 or 8 times never purchasing any items but would go to the champagne Tahoe and drop items off mind you Mark wanted the wis international inventory Associates to stop these would be shoplifters we arrived at roughly 6 an we did not leave until 6 pm all the while nothing but derogatory comments and remarks from Mark the entire day Mark's pirates were of no real assistance they hindered the production more than anything Mark's phenomenal comment was he has to be in south Carolina Monday all the while berating the inventory crew we referred to Mark as "the little brown guy" Mark does not monitor his language nor his actions while in the presence of customers or companies there to do a service for the company Mark's repetitive comments were we work for him and what's he paying us for all the while he is not paying us nor do we work for him Books A Millions corporate Office is the individual's who have insisted the services of Wis international when our services are enlisted it has been said by many sources that it's because the corporate office has a distrust with doing internal...

I just left books a million and this trip was absolutely horrible!! Firstly, I went into the coffee shop and the brown head girl with a mask on looked me dead in my face and turned around and continued doing what she was doing and never said a word to me while I stood there for a while. I finally just walked off. Then I went to the front on the store and the long haired guy was nice and helpful because I needed help finding a book. He directed me to one young tall male whom told me to wait while he checked if they had it and once again nothing. Eventually he came around the corner with another customer and walked past me as if he’d never seen me. I politely asked him, where would the book be located and he pointed in the back direction. I found the book myself but GOODNESS GRACIOUS was that experience ridiculously uncalled for, they need to be retrained on customer service...

Normally bam is my happy place. But today I brought my emotional support animal in. I called ahead to make sure it was okay. i got there it was going fine and then this employee asked if i could pick her up. Which is fine, (even though she's on a leash), but then when i explained she hated being held, the employee scoffed at me and was rude, "your cat hates being in stores??". i clearly did not say that. I said she hates being held. She's fine in stores. And then when i tried to further explain the woman INTERRUPTS me to say "we only allow service animals anyway". I tell her I have her ESA letter and as I'm pulling it out to show her she walks away. I then did try to hold my ESA and like I thought she freaked out and made it a big deal. books a million please do a better job of teaching your employees to be ESA friendly or just say they're...
