The absolute worst customer service. I dropped off a watch for repair on June 19th with an estimated pick up date of July 19th. On July 22nd I called the store for a status update on the repair, the associate who took the call kept me on the phone for 10 minutes, clearly she was confused and didnât know what she was doing. After 10 minutes she said she would look into it further and call me back. 10 days later I was still waiting for her call. I attempted to call the store again and was unsuccessful at reaching them three times so I went online to see if an online representative could assist me, she was unable to get in touch with the store either. Finally after two more attempts to call I was able to reach the store and the associate who answered said he would look into it and get back to me. To his credit, he did call me back only to tell me that the watch has been sitting at the shop the entire time, waiting for the cost to be approved and upon approval the repair is estimated to take an additional 3 weeks. Apparently if I hadnât inquired about it, the watch would have just sat at the repair shop for the rest of eternity because no one from the store contacted me to have the cost approved. Clearly they have no idea what they are doing, I would not recommend using this store for any repair work. As a side note, they required a $100 deposit at the time I dropped the watch off and the estimated repair turned out to be $134.00, I have no problem paying the additional $34 but you would think that they would waive the extra cost since they âdropped the ballâ and I have to wait at least another 3 weeks, putting my wait time to a total of over two...
   Read moreI had recently went to Kay Jewelers to pick up and pay for a wedding ring that i had to order 2 months ago. Well when i got there the store was empty of customers and only the employees were there. When I walked in the lady I'm assuming which was the manager just stared me up and down then gave me an expression like i was a burden that she had to do her job that day. After that she told another employee to help me out, I told the employee that i had ordered a ring and that i didn't receive any calls about it, so I came to see if it was there and to buy it if it was. she couldn't find any ring or any paper work concerning it and told me that she . She gave me one of their iPad's to look for another wedding ring for them to order, after she handed it to me she just walked off and never came back. I had to get another employees to track her down and get her to see about ordering my ring she said that she would call around and order the ring and would call me when she did.... i never got any calls and its been 2 weeks. I have been a customer of Kay jewelers for almost 12 years now, had the best customer service with David and Robin, even so far as to mail my jewelry from Texas to them just to take care of it and fix them for me because of how great their customer service was with me. This new team that is there now is below average on the customer service side, so much that i am taking all my business to Reeds jewelers for Robin and David to continue to take care of my jewelry needs. They were patient and kind and were extremely helpful. I had purchased a ring that I ended up thoroughly disliking because of design flaws that I hadn't noticed when i first went in to look at rings. I had found one i liked but it wasn't in our budget. The manager David suggested we go custom and he sat with us for hours and really brought the perfect ring to life. He is very down to earth and helpful. He won't lie to you in order to get someone to purchase something. He would rather you leave without something than be unhappy with something you did purchase.
