6/2/16 The best part about this place was the agave syrup they had sitting by the sugar and cream. Way over-priced. They didn't even know what a red-eye was. I asked for almond milk in my drink and they guy just hands me my coffee, so I checked to see if the almond milk was in it, and I had to ask if it was. Only then did he bother to tell me that it was on the counter in the back and I had to put it in myself. If I have to pay over $5 for a coffee, I shouldn't have to do anything. The large cup was also way smaller than any other place's large size. The coffee was decent, which is the only reason I didn't give it a 1 star. Just another over-priced fake hipster place with lame ass art all over the place.

6/4/16 Update: So, now the employees of this place are finding me on Facebook and sending me friend requests. I accepted one just to see what they wanted, apparently to show me that they are ok people. I'll admit, I shouldn't have said anything negative about the art on the walls. It is not the artist fault that the coffee shop sucks. Anyways, I find it pretty creepy that these people would go out of their way to find me...

After going to Fluid South Valpo, Fluid Michigan City, and this location, I can say with full confidence this is the superior Fluid location. They have the same drink choices, but the place they're made in and the people making it are very different. At the time of this review my drink was made by Carter, who was extremely helpful in explaining coffee techniques and brands of beans and just chatting about things in town. Alfie was also quite helpful and entertaining! Every employee you'll meet at this location is very knowledgable and overall they're all great people. As for the coffee, this is the only specialty café in town but even if there was another, this one is the best. Their drinks are crafted to where there's an option for everyone. Traditional milk drinks, sweet specialty drinks, or a stronger specialty drink. My personal favorite is the Novus Ordo, hot instead of iced (hot tastes stronger). Since I had never been here I decided to take recommendations from the barista. She advised me the rocket fuel coffee concoction and the beef croissant were a couple of her favorites (she was very friendly and outgoing). I was very pleased with the unique flavor of my drink. Definitely not like any other coffee shop I have been to. The beef croissant was perfect. It had a light sauce (not sure what it was) and a little bit of spinach. Very little meat but I prefer that. There is nothing worse than sitting by yourself eating in public trying to bite into some huge sandwich. The side it came with was a refreshing medley of cucumber and tomato in a balsamic dressing. It was fantastic!!!
