I brought my glasses in to be repaired after my daughter broke an arm off, I was told that they COULD repair the glasses and that they could make small adjustments for fit if it was slightly different when I picked them up. It was EXCELLENT service at first, and then the problems began. After picking my glasses up, I was wearing them and the arm fell back off. They had 30 day warranty, so I took them back. I was told a week at MOST. When I called 2 days past a week because I hadn't been contacted, they said ANOTHER week. I said no, that's not what I was told. They said they could see if they could expedite them and called me the next day for pickup. I went to pick them up and they no longer fit and I told them this, letting them know that I was told at drop off that an adjustment for fit could be made. They said no. There was nothing they could do. THEN they told me that's the condition that I brought them in! My glasses fit AFTER they fixed them the first time. Not after the second and they basically said too bad, so sad. The "manager" was very condescending and guaranteed that was how I brought them in and I vehemently denied this and guaranteed I did NOT, given that they fit after they "fixed" them the first time. Then the jeweler himself came out just to be rude and tell me "what do you mean you didn't bring them in like this, the arm was broken off!" And when I tried to explain that their first "fix" left my glasses fitting, that was proof that it was something THEY did in the second fix as they fit and I was wearing them the day the arm fell off again. He walked away when I tried to respond and the manager said "sorry, there's nothing we can do." They sent me to LensCrafters, who said they couldn't heat the arms due to the weld, BUT they were able to heat the center of the glasses to make them fit again. THANKFULLY LensCrafters was able to help, but I would NEVER recommend taking your glasses here. They may be amazing at cleaning jewelry, I wouldn't know, but I do know the rude and terrible customer service is enough to never return. They charged me for a job the weren't qualified to do. I told them that I would have never given them my glasses to repair had I known there was a possibility that I wouldn't have been able to wear them and that I would have taken my business elsewhere from the start but that I was guaranteed that they could make those minor adjustments upon pickup. 0/5 stars, but it doesn't...
Read moreI was nervous about taking my diamond wedding rings to get sized soldered and rhodium dipped, but i took a chance being that in the past i received good service on a watch and had read many good reviews .. I was told my rings would be done in 2 hours which only end up being like 1 hour so i was pretty excited.. on my way home I realized one of the diamonds on the side of my engagement ring was cracked in half and appeared to be glued together and re set back into my setting.. i was furious and immediately drove back to the mall.. Once I got back to the store i showed the employee (Maricella)my ring.. she showed the jeweler and said they’d fix it, i wanted a refund, and asked why i wasn’t notified that a diamond cracked in the process of my repairs and how would I know the quality of stone they were replacing it with?Mind you my ring is over 10k.. she told me she would test the replacement diamond with some handheld device she had..I told her this was totally unacceptable and wanted to speak to a manager and a refund of the $188 i just spent ,she told me no way could she do that and I could only get the defects fixed, and that their was no manager available ..I asked for corporate number and was told the only way to reach the corporate was office was by email..I end up finding a corporate number and left a message with a woman named joann or joanna...This is now day 5 and I still have not got a return call from anyone .. Please be smarter than i was and never take your valuable jewelry to this place! I have insurance on my rings through the store my husband purchased them at but didn’t want to wait the time(2-3weeks)that it takes for the store to send out my jewelry for sizing, soldering and rhodium dip, so i came here as a quick and easy solution...wrong decision ! Go elsewhere and make sure you insure your jewelry and use the insurance, never trust Fast-Fix...
Read moreOn Sunday I walked in to get a battery replacement for my Bulova water resistant watch, an engraved gift from my employer for 10 year's. The taller young girl told me it would be $19.99, or if I wanted a 5 year warranty on the battery it would be $24.99. First, $20.00 is too much to pay for a 'maybe' $5.00 battery to be replaced but wanted a "professional" so they would know how to take off the back without scratching. She told me it would be 15-20 minutes. We left at 11:53 and returned at 12:30. The first girl appeared to walk back to the "workbench" where my watch was, fiddled with it a bit, then walked to me to explain the back needed to be put on. Then she asked the dark-haired, shorter, girl to assist. That girl finished my watch, came up to the counter, handed it to me. I noticed the inscription on the back was crooked and I made a comment. She said "well when we put on the backs we just put them on". I said, "but that's not how you received the watch". She said "I can redo it!" and me thinking time said "never mind". Then I also noticed back was also on upside down and I asked her to put the back on right, the way it was when I brought it in. She took the watch and while walking back to "workbench" said "I told you I would do it!" I reprimanded her stating "No. 1 rule is' the customer is always right!' Now back to the pricing. The first girl explained $24.99 is 5 year guarantee, 2nd girl explained $24.99 for 5 year's and replace battery 1 time each year. Two different explanations concerning 5 year benefit. Bad service and my husband will learn to take back off before I pay minimum wage girl/employee...
