As a family we were very disappointed with PCC Cumberland campus. PCC is our home church and we were eager to try the closer location, hoping for the same sense of community and faith. However, nothing could be further from that being the case. My sister had a broken leg and was on crutches, and when we requested a seat on the lower level, we were informed they couldn’t seat seven people together down there. We arrived at 10:15 for the 11:00 Service asking to be seated early due to crutches. We couldn’t go in the church until 10:45 with the crowd of people, making no room for my sister’s broken leg. We just were asking for a little consideration and help. There were many open seats, four and five together, so not seating us at a level without steps was not due to a lack of space. At Passion 515 ushers are always asking people to fill in the empty seats and make room for others, and people happily do this. Instead we were made to go up six rows of steps with my sister on crutches with a broken leg. How dangerous and inconsiderate. After being seated when we told the usher how we felt, the response was simply, “I’m sorry you feel that way, but we are glad that you are here.” Nothing else was said or done. While it is a good thing to see a Church growing, I hope PCC doesn’t become another church worried about the numbers and size instead of maintaining the sense of community, faith, and welcomeness that makes...
Read moreThis was a very nice, clean building with welcoming, friendly volunteers/staff that were very helpful in navigating parking and where to sit. The parking is a little hectic, be prepared to park in a lot down the street and walk about a block- so wear comfortable shoes. I don't typically attend church due to my reluctance towards organized religion, specifically Western Christianity, but I do enjoy Louie Giglio's messages so I went. He preached from his other location and was on a screen, which I didn't mind- but wanted others to know so if they aren't into that, they can go to the...
Read moreI like visiting here. People are very warm and welcoming! Worship is lively and meaningful. Several times of worship makes it easy not to miss church. I have only been 3x and each time there was a different pastor. All were on point; meaning that messagrs are undergirded by passages from the Bible. Passion City main Pastor is Lou Giglio. PCC Cumberland is one of the satellite locations. Another important aspect that there is focus on personal relationship with God and...
