The Public House — Restaurant in Georgia

The service was so bad that I couldn't wait to get home and post this review - I am sitting in the parking lot of TPH. Where do I start? First, the place was nearly empty and after standing at the bar waiting to be seated and watching the staff run around, I finally asked if I could seat myself and the tall redhead girl never looked up at me but replied "Yes, you can sit anywhere". I plotted myself lonely self at the bar, which had spilled milk all over the place, I sat quietly waiting on someone to stop by and five me a menu or ask me if I would like water or coffee - finally someone finally handed me a menu - no offer of water or anything. I waited patiently for someone to clean up the spilled milk that I was seated near but that never happened so I moved to the other side of the bar. The staff kept on with whatever they were doing and 10 minutes later I finally stopped someone to see if they could take my order and a few minutes later my order was placed. The food came out pretty quickly but how long does it take to whip up a mushroom omelet with an empty restaurant. I waited longer to place the order than it did for my omelet to come out. Needless to say, I will never come back here. The service is horrible, absolutely horrible. They should be embarrassed to be delivering this type of customer experience in The Vinings. There is many good restaurants in vinings that you should try before this one especially for the money. We Went for valentines dinner at 7:30. Decor was sterile but somehow not very clean. Food was bearly warm. Portions were very tiny. My 7 oz filet for 32 dollars was 4oz. 3 baby carrots, 3 tiny asparagus spears. And some fingerling potatoes that were overly cooked to the point of being hash browns. We had 1 app, 2 entrees, 1 glass of Pinot noir, 1 hot tea. Bill came to be $109 with tip. All sub-par. The waiter was unavailable, to the point that the hostess took our order. She was not interested in being a server and was undertrained. The tables near us tried for a while to get the waitresss attention. They left upset. The Food tasted bland, lacked life and flavor. Water glasses unfilled. We left and felt like we had had one of the poorest experiences in Vinings especially for the price. The restaurant was not very busy for Valentine’s Day so that should have been a clue. For the first time ever I have been going for the longest by living in the neighborhood had the most horrible experience. I did not receive the service I deserved as a customer coming into establishment I placed order and it took forever for my food to come to my table. 3 couples or families came in at least 30 mins to and 1 hr after me and got there food before me. The manager came to table to say order was never put into the kitchen even after the waitress literally took order. So 2-3 tables came in after and got there food while am still waiting for over an 1 1/2 to get my food.
