There are usually 15-20+ stalls every Saturday. Each one has vendors that are kind and helpful with some being witty and funny too! There are less stalls then some other farmers markets but that's because Wake Forest vets their farmers to make sure everything is home grown and home made unlike other local markets that do not. I enjoy the homemade goods, the produce always tastes fresh and delicious, the meat is of high quality and locally raised, the flower bunches you get there are unparalleled in their vibrant colors, the live music sounds delightful, and the master gardeners of ladies + Steve are awesome to talk to! They helped me find resources and books to begin reading up on in preparation for my own homestead. Overall I adore Wake Forest Farmers Market and will continue coming back for many Saturdays to come. ❤

Great finds this morning! Fresh cucumbers, three for a dollar, sweet corn on the cob $.50 ea, homegrown lettuce $5 a bag! Yummies is one of the vendors. They have delicious baked goods. We got for empanadas and a vegetable tart. So delicious! There’s tons of other vendors out there with fresh meat, jewelry, candles, honey, and much more! Check out the Wake Forest farmers market on Saturdays from eight to noon through September and starting in October at 10 AM to noon!

I've been shopping at the WF Farmers Market just about every week for over 10 years. Everything there is produced by someone who cares about the land, their animals, and producing excellent, mostly organic, sometimes better than organic, quality products. Good food (and crafts), good people and a way to support your local economy--you can't beat it. Highly recommended.

Enjoying the farmers market! I do wish they had longer hours especially now that they are only open from 10-12 on Saturdays only. I understand this is to accommodate the temperatures dropping soon but that’s a very short window to be able to go. We couldn’t go this weekend because we had somewhere else to be during that time. It would be nice if they could do more than one day a week or if they could do 10-12 then again from 2-4 or something like that. Everyone is very nice and explains their products well and offers...
