Very nice staff running the parking garage and the stores. I’ve been going there for about 4 years they have started the 25$ charge about 3 years ago. I don’t understand how people complain about this it’s literally posted at every entrance which you get to leave for free if you are below 3 hours. But honesty it doesn’t surprise me no one reads anything I’ve witness it my self. I’m more worried about the people who live and shop there as they just treat the staff and other bystanders very rudely. People also don’t know it’s a private parking garage and expect to be let out for free even though it’s a business and they make money for you parking at their 50 million dollar parking garage. But of course everyone wants everything free... Overall the place is great the staff at every store and especially the parlaying garage staff if you just be nice to them and not demand them to let you out for free (witness it every week I shop there some person arguing not wanting to pay ridiculous prices are posted everywhere!

Fee schedule: First 3 hours are free 3-4 hours $5 4-5 hours $7 5 hours or longer is $25 along with lost tickets. No overnight parking. Pay, the fee right before you exit, at the pay machines. Card payment only. The time start is the time that’s stamped on your parking card. The time finish is the time that it is when you drive up to the exit machine at the lot exit. So take that into consideration and give yourself plenty of time to exit to avoid extra fees.
The lot is the best bet for parking at the plaza. The majority of side streets next to the plaza don’t allow...
Read moreI live in Solano county and only come to Walnut Creek to shop 2 to 4 times a year. I’ll plan to shop, have lunch, and shop some more. I usually come with several friends to make a day of it. Parking has always been relatively easy and free. Yesterday, we got there at 10 am and left at 3. The “ new and improved” parking garage charged me $25 for going over 5 hours by 7 minutes! I had no idea there was such a limit, paid their exorbitant fee and left. As I told them, I will NEVER use that lot again, and probably will drive to Sacramento from now on or, more simply, will only shop on the internet. If the brick and mortar stores want to further reduce foot traffic, this is...
