Broadway Spa — Attraction in Walnut Creek

Shocked others places I've been to many times have good reviews and this place doesn't have more of them trust me this place is AMAZING and they haven't been in business that long FYI new owners doing an amazing job...

I've been coming here on and off since they opened and it's always been high class, great quality, and affordable. I just left with an ice cold soda, I love saying hello to their parakeet, and the wide variety of drinks they offer on your way out.

It's very clean here and the facility is much bigger & cleaner than all competitors in the area I can say I've probably tried them all. This is a respectful place and I've never had a bad experience or awkward moment. I no longer go anywhere else for good reason. The staff are all quality folks and since their recent grand opening they have always exhibited lots of care in running a successful business that is built on customer service and detail. It's obvious/ What prompted this review: I've been traveling and stayed in Calistoga on my way back to WC... I spent 2 days at Solage Auberge & Spa and had two deep tissue massages... I won't say how much they cost but I felt kinda relaxed I guess. I like their pools and facility...all in all my experience wasn't that great in Calistoga I guess I have high expectations from places like Broadway Spa. When I got to WC I came here and it was night and day - I left so much more rejuvenated than I did at the super bougie Napa Valley Spa I don't think I could ever live with a massage from anywhere else anymore! Amazing massage and top level customer service! This place does things so much better.

I arrived in the parking lot behind the building and was greeted at the back door by the receptionist. She was very friendly and welcoming and walked me to a room right away with no reservation. The place is newly renovated and the massage tables are very comfortable. My masseuse Emily did a great job. I was able to ask for specific things during the massage (hardest in some places and softer in others) without any problems. It was all very relaxing and just what I needed. After my massage I was welcomed back by the front desk and was able to pay by card. They have a loyalty program but unlike the others around here, Broadway Spa actually keeps the card in a binder at the front desk associated with your phone number so you never lose it! While I was getting everything settled, I got to select from a wide variety of beverages (sodas and water, if I remember correctly) and there were some candies as well. This was the worst massage I have ever gotten. He was messaging my skin so fast and rough I thought my skin was going to fall off. He was jerky, rough and the opposite of relaxing. After leaving I was in pain and stressed from the experience. I thought that come tomorrow, maybe my body would feel amazing. I woke up feeling like I got hit in the back.
