The Golf Mart — Attraction in Walnut Creek

Was looking to purchase and Driver for only the SECOND time in my golf journey and went to another golf store and nobody there was interested in helping me.

Needed to check my swing speed to match up the correct Driver for me as I am 15 years older from the last time I got a new Driver ( Hand me down model, we all get those).

Drove over to Golf Mart and Joe helped me out immediately .

He listened to what I was looking for and went about putting 3-4 different options together for me to try.

No pressure at all and while dealing with me 3 more customers came in and he helped as they were looking to do the dame as me.

Joe was patient with each of us and offered advice and suggestions to help us get the right equipment.

He mentioned the advantages of buying our equipment from GolfMart such as 90 day return policy and willing to make some changes to your purchased clubs with in reason to satisfy your needs.and that was a BIG plus to me.

Price wise GolfMart was equal to or better then what I saw on some online stores.

The big difference is that you get that personal touch and attention from the Staff at GolfMart like Joe that you cannot get from a online store.

I only intended on buying a Driver, but also ended up buying a 3 Hybrid as well because the experience and input was so easy .

Besides I want to do better on the course.

Who doesn't?

Of course a $600.00 dollar driver is NOT going to fix a $2.00 swing...but its a start..😆

This will be my go-to golf supplier for now on and I will strongly suggest to my clients and friends to go to GolfMart for their equipment needs.

Want a wonderful group of experts and support to help fit and get the best product for the actual player. My son is in high school and was leaning towards a stix package cause it was inexpensive, looked cool and was targeted online - but is actually poor quality. Mitch never spoke negatively of stix but walked me through all the brands and options, discussed the forgiveness and unforgiveness of specific clubs based on my son’s level of play. He then matched me up with a set that was in range of the price point and even went the extra step to ship it from their Florida location who had the set in stock to be delivered my sons birthday. All in all, I left informed, happy and am now getting my son a Taylor Made set that will elevate his game and last him for his high school years - so I’m also going to be a good dad :) Thanks to Mitch for being patient, informed, honest and finding me the right set for the right price for the actual player. Next up will be my other sons set...

This review is long over due.... I almost gave up on the golf mart until walking into this store. I work near the San Rafael store and walked in at least 4 times and was never acknowledged. When I did ask for help, it was like pulling teeth to get someone to actually show an interest in what I needed. So, one day I decided to pop my head into the Walnut Creek store to see if I could exchange a recently purchased putter that I was unhappy with. I was approached by Jeremy and was more than happy to help, make sure I was fit to the correct length and actually special ordered it directly from Ping. I received follow up phone calls and was taken care of until I picked up my putter. These guys actually care about their customers which is hard to find these days.
