We went in here on a whim about a year ago. We spotted what looked like a pair Togo dupes, but which had been nicely reupholstered. However, they were priced at over $2000. When we inquired about why dupes were so expensive, the employee swore up and down that they were actual Togos, even going so far as to call the manager to back up her story.
We were the idiots and took them at their word, buying the pieces. We learned later that they were indeed dupes, and we’d overpaid by about $1000.
