Review is primarily for Ezgi Rozenshteyn. I scheduled the initial therapy session for my daughter with Ezgi. Unfortunately she started showing symptoms of Covid so I asked if we could meet virtually instead. She said no problem and would send me a zoom link prior to our 3:15 meeting. I waited till 3:10 and still no link, then she said she would send it to me in a minute. I kept checking my email and still didn’t receive a link, then at 3:20 she said I should’ve received it. I kept checking and checking and I didn’t receive anything. I texted her back saying I didn’t receive anything, it’s when she said oh I wouldn’t receive anything but the link would be there when I sign on to the portal and it’s not on zoom. Note this was the first session so I’ve never used the portal before, so by the time I logged in and figured it all out it Awww already 3:30. We chatted a bit and she talked to my daughter for less than 5 minutes, and the session was over in less than 30 minutes. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and scheduled our next session. Got email confirmation for our next session at 7:15 pm. It’s kinda late but I just wanted to work around Ezgi’s schedule. We arrived at the office at 7 pm, thinking we should be there early. The door was locked and no one was there, so we waited in the car until 7:15, pm, still no one there to open the door. At this point I texted her on her cell and called her, but I didn’t not get a response. I then decided to text the main line and the person said she’s currently on vacation and I wasn’t even on the schedule, but said she would be back on Wednesday. I explained my session was scheduled only 2 weeks ago and she did not mention any vacations. I didn’t hear back from her even when she’s back in town. This is a horrible way to deal with clients especially when it involves with kids. I gave it 2 stars because the front office did great on responding to my texts even...
Read moreTherapist was unlicensed, combative, unprofessional, unscientific, belittling, biased, unethical and thought she had it all figured out... all in the very first session. How many more red flags do you need?
As per the owner's response: The therapist was an AMFT (for Associate Marriage and Family Therapist) not an LMFT (L for licensed). To become an LMFT in California AMFT's must complete 2 years of experience and take 2 exams on topics like client diagnosis, treatment, and ethics. As of writing this 11 of their 18 listed therapists are AMFT's. Always ask your AMFT why they aren't licensed yet. It also means they're not qualified to diagnose or treat clients' mental-, behavioral-, or health-related issues. In my case it meant the therapist spent the entire time telling me to "just get over it." Since she had no understanding of what trauma was or how...
Read moreI would not recommend Celeste. She comes off socially awkward and passive aggressive. Doesn’t ask open ended questions and sits awkwardly watching you. (Felt like she was there for a paycheck vs being of any help) I expressed to her my views on weather it was a match or not and she thought I was insulting her? Lol-like I said very awkward gal. First time was a weird experience second time also weird. It was not a good fit and that’s ok. I came here as I seen good reviews but this place was not listed on YELP and I’m very big in reviews. I’m sure it’s legit just my experience so far...
