Nice store! Whether you enjoy gardening or are a hipster who pretends to be into "urban gardening" until you actually see what a real garden/farm supply store looks like. The staff is super friendly, and there's pretty much everything you'd expect from a local garden store.

I went for bird seed, and there was an entire aisle of it, plus nice big bulk bags of it too. They have a discount program you can sign up for if you buy a lot, and they also run bulk specials at well for like half price on some of the seed. I recently got a couple tons of bird seed which should last long enough to grow my flock of hell-spawn doves.

A wonderful farm supply store in the heart of Waltham! They sell practically everything you could want – feed for layer hens, live chicks, fencing, rabbit supplies, gardening seeds and supplies, tools...the woiks. They will deliver cords of wood. Employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are good. You might find better prices online or at the big box alternatives, but the difference isn't that dramatic. Dan Jr. is extremely knowledgeable of chickens and everything I have asked him questions about. Always happy to help and his crew loads stuff into the car without question. This is one of the best all around store experiences you can ask for. They have local honey, chicks in the spring, any outdoor garden and ag products you could need - even firewood. They have many organic options as well as his sister provides all organic chicken treats and other items that he stocks in store. Very friendly and a joy to visit.
