Breakout Games — Attraction in Washington Township

Thanks to Brandon, our awesome game host, and everyone at Breakout Games for a great time! Six friends and I did the kidnapping room for my birthday. This is the third room I've done at Breakout, and they are all really well laid out and designed. Brandon was very accommodating, humorous, helpful and cheerful. I think we asked for and received the perfect amount of clues for us to still challenge ourselves and escape in the nick of time. Also all of the staff is really cool, and the lobby is nice and decorated for Halloween. My one suggestion for the team is making sure all necessary clues abide by the "you can move with 2 fingers rule" – one of our clues ended up needing a bit more force than that ;) But that's probably also just me being mad at myself I didn't get it, haha....

We had an absolute blast at Breakout Games Dayton doing the Wild West room for my mother-in-law’s birthday! It was the perfect activity for our whole crew — fun, immersive, and full of surprises.

Our game master, Jeff, was phenomenal! He struck the perfect balance between letting us work through the puzzles and stepping in with helpful hints when we needed them. His energy and timing made the experience even better — he made our group feel like a bunch of real-life outlaws on a birthday heist!

The room itself was so well done — creative puzzles, great theming, and challenges that kept everyone (from age 5 and up!) fully engaged.

This place is a lot of fun. You get 60 mins to try and escape the adventure you chose. Each adventure has up to 8 people, so if your party does not fill that slot, you get a chance to meet some new friends! It can be tricky and you definitely need to think outside the box. There is a guide who watches you the whole time, who can help give you clues and there is a screen that shows you how much time you have left. Each puzzle that you solve leads to another puzzle, until you finally comes to the one that earns your freedom. You can leave at any time if you need to, so you are not completely trapped if there is an emergency or something. It is great for a girls night, friend hang out, family event, or work team building.
