I wanted to love this place given the chaos and mess of Plato’s. I went to sell two large totes of clothing. I walk in the store before unloading to ask if they’re buying. She says yes but I have to fill two of their totes instead of dropping my own. Something I wish I would’ve read anywhere before unloading my entire closet. I ask if I can take their bins to the car and the girl says “no”.

So I lug my massive bins in just to transfer to two small bins.

A little rude but fine. There’s an older woman ahead of me and she’s trying to make small talk and the girl is just dismissive of her entirely. Doesn’t smile, barely even responds to anything she says. She’s older and obviously new to this and trying to just be nice in vain it seems.

When she’s done with her she directs me to the iPad and tells me to fill it out I do. Then I just stand there waiting and without looking at me says “45 minutes”.

I say great thanks and as I go to look at an old Arsenal jersey she says “MAM, you have to move your totes” and I say oh I just wanted to look at this shirt. Mind you I’m the only person in the store. “She says no you have to take your bins all the way back out to the parking lot and come back to look around because we don’t want a mess up here”.

Naturally, I LEAVE taking my bins and wait 45 minutes, no updates. I wait 3.5 HOURS and head back and when I get to the counter the same girl doesn’t look at me and says “go down there” to the other register. So. Rude.

So I head to the other girl who’s helping another customer and she gives me a look like “yeah?” I explain oh I sold stuff this morning and you guys said it’d be 45 minutes so I just wanted to make sure I didn’t do something wrong or leave the wrong number and check in on it. She then acts as if I’m the biggest inconvenience or impatient person in the world and says “well there’s only one girl working on that so….. yeah”. Mind you I was totally respectful not even pushing the issue and waiting my turn in line. I just wanted to know what was going on.

She goes I have to help this customer first. THEN WHY DID YOU ASK ME “YEAH….?” When I walked up. Make it make sense.

I’m not even mad, I’m not even in a hurry. I was simply told an amount of time and came back 4x longer than you said.

Anyway FINALLY a cute longer haired blonde girl finally ended up helping me and was the single only nice person. The first girl was black with braids and the other white with short dark hair.

I have never experienced customer service this poor, unethical & unprofessional. My first time shopping at this store the cashier asked if I had a phone number registered with them. When I said no, she recommended I use my friends phone number who had just checked out next to me. The next day I came back promptly with my items and receipt to return them. She asked for my number and I told her what had happened the previous afternoon. She replied that that is how this store works, by making an account with your phone number and that was the only way to make the return. My money then went to my friends account as a store credit and they would not help me resolve this matter even when I explained that no one had told me about this policy upon making my purchase. Not only they did not offer me a fair and informed chance to decide if I wanted to shop at their store by explaining this upon checkout, but then refused to return the money to my original form of payment. They then gave me the owners email who proceeded to respond in the most unhelpful and honestly very weird exchange of emails I have ever received. They never issued my payment back to me and refused to do so claiming this was their policy. No one should be forced to shop at a store after such an experience.
