I met Sarah Huey after finally finding the stylist of my dreams, embarking on a new trendy hair color service others had left me disappointed with in one way or another (high contrast balayage from dark brown to platinum) doing it over several expensive appointments only to reach maintenance level and hear she was moving out of country! Ohh so sad! So, resigned to my fate I set out to find a new stylist.

Before I found Sarah I felt I was just going to try ONE more time, then when it didn’t work out (like everyone else) I’d go back to my natural color. I’ve searched for years for the stylist who could do what I was hoping for, found her once, and figured lightning wouldn’t strike twice if you know what I mean. Boy was I wrong!!

When I booked with Sarah I hoped for the best, but planned for the worst because it seemed no matter who I went to, I walked out looking the same. My roots were always way too harsh and dark compared to the blonde. Others didn’t blend them the way I hoped for. Choppy. Streaky. The contrast between my base and my light tones was...awful. Made me hate balayage! Until Sarah showed me something completely new to me and rocked my world! She actually blew my mind! The way she blends, let’s just say she made me love my natural color as a base in balayage! She made it look amazing! How did she do that without changing my base color?? Mind blowing!

Sarah, my Gosh woman. I LOVE YOU!!!!! I really don’t want to post this review because then maybe you’ll be famous (not that you don’t deserve that! You DO!) and too busy to work on little ole me, but again, my goodness girlfriend, WOW!! Talent doesn’t even begin to describe it!

Sarah Huey is a prodigy, an anomaly, an alchemist. Magic. And her services are not outrageously priced?! Am I dreaming?

My hair says “Yeah girl, you’re dreaming. Your hair couldn’t possibly look this fabulous in real life!” But my husband swears he paid for it haha. So I guess it really did happen, and I am SO fortunate to be walking around a living breathing example of what passion can do when it mingles with the heart of a hungry lion and the joy of an angel at the same time! If you go see Sarah, you’d better be good to her! Trust me, you’ll never meet anyone like her again for as long as you live. My stylist, the unicorn.

I scheduled with Jenna for a color correction of a grown out ombre with the hopes of lightening it up and evening it out. At the last minute l was rescheduled with Carly M who spent 3 hours "correcting" my hair only to let me leave with dark roots, a bright orange band around the crown of my head, and very uneven coloring. After l cried tears at the results, she still charged me the full "color correction" price and refused to fix it without an additional charge. Not only was she distracted and even LEFT the building to go to the dollar tree while doing my hair but she was not at all accommodating when the end results were way less than desirable. I would not recommend anyone to schedule with...

I can not report on any stylist but the one that destroyed my hair and left me with months off grow out and costly repairs. The main issue that I have is that there is no oversight from Management there and each stylist just basically is on their own. This leaves customers like me with major hair damage just out of luck, no place to turn and no way to even get your money back.
