Actually, food was good. Can't say the same about the service. After I finished my dinner, I waited, waited and waited and then was told to pay at the front. Okay. But if you expect to be tipped, just do your job.
During the card processing process, I noticed there was a "service charge". I asked what it was for, and then I was told it was for credit card fees that they had to pay. I do not think this should be charged to customers as it is because they have an option to raised prices of their products. Anyhow, I was about to sign, she told me that as a matter-of-faclty, it was my copy and I should keep it and need to sign the other one. Then I was signing the other one, and I noticed I was signing the customer's copy, not the merchant's copy. She tried to cover it up by saying things, but she really needs to make sure before rudely pointing out something that is in fact wrong.
Update (08/23/25): I am not debating if “everyone pays up in the register”. Most places I am familiar with, a server brings a check. Why not? Should I reduce the amount of the tip since this was omitted from their service? You can have whatever the rule you like, but if you deviate from the norm, have a courtesy to inform a customer.
Pls keep yourself updated that everywhere there is convenience fee for credit cards including doctors office , clinics ,convenient stores , BMV, AES and many govt offices as well
I am not debating. When did I?
Just to make sure I showed the copy to be signed and gave two receipts for your reference, you mixed up everything
Actually, you are the one who were “confused”.
Since I was in phone call couldn’t reply
This is another incorrect piece of info. You did keep talking. Remember? Also, there was a customer ahead of me, and when we talked, you were not talking on the phone. You might have been confused because toward the very end, there was a call, but AFTER you rudely said I was about to sign a wrong receipt, which in fact, was the...
Read moreExtremely slow and poor service, their manager said food should be ready for pickup in an hour but when arrived for pickup they said it was not and took another 35 minutes 👎🏾 If you cannot commit on time then please don’t give false assurance to people. Also had one DoorDash guy infront of me who also said that he has been waiting for like more than 25 min. Giving 2stars for their food which was okay.
Responding to owner’s reply- First of all, learn to behave well with your customers, its hard to believe that this kind of behavior is coming from someone who hails from southern India, I have never ever experienced such a rude and ignorant attitude from any other South Indian Restaurant businesses. If you run a business there will be mixed reviews, learn to accept that fact, instead of hammering people on Google reviews try to rectify if you know it’s a genuine criticism & work on some continuous improvements in your services. I have gone through your other reviews so stop your continual praise for quality, quality is something which always goes along with other key elements like customer service & feedback, food, prices etc.. anyways I’m not here to teach, you may take some classes elsewhere, otherwise you will start blabbering about the same…if I understand you correctly! Coming to your point below – I agree that “giving time is approximation and not exact” but that doesn’t mean its infinite….there’s always a allowance to the time given, no one would grumble if you go over 5-15 min but going over 30min for a takeout order is simply absurd. I personally have never experienced such wait times in any restaurant for takeouts even in any bones & wings restaurant as per your comment below. Liked your response which is...
Read moreAlthough, comparing with any other restaurant, price is tentatively 3-4 dollar higher than other Indian restaurant. I believe, I have had experience with tons of restaurant from east to west coast but 16 dollar for chicken biryani is definitely higher. Time from order to food in the table was 35-40 min. Which is ok since your food was fresh. However, if you asked customer to wait 35-40 minutes and you cannot even give WiFi password ??? Seriously. What I am supposed to do for 40 min. This is America, there is wifi connection in every place, even the shopping mall but this place told me rudely that they cannot give wifi password. I know it’s not a hotel or service industry but any restaurant I go for dining they offer wifi. What a shame!!!!! You are doing a business in America and you cannot offer wifi free in restaurant, when same competitive market people offer it. I have paid not only for food, it’s for service you provide from order to food coming into the table .truly upset.will never go again and do dining. Disgusting.
For the owner who doesn’t know how to be polite while replying to the customer: I do have data that’s how I survived at your restaurant for 40minutes. Before questioning my profession and come into the personal.try to learn how to reply to the customer who appreciate your food business and gives you constructive comment so that you could improve it. If you cannot even listen comments, why even you have to check reviews and reply it. Let me tell you I can give you tons of Indian restaurant that provide wifi connection to the customer where I have had good dining experience. Amar India restaurant Jeet India restaurant List goes on and...
