I love the bi-monthly Korean movies the cultural center offers. Korean snacks are available 30 minutes before the movie, and this provides an opportunity to check out menu items one might be reluctant to try otherwise. The movies are subtitled in English and they are usually blockbusters or other highly regarded films. I have been introduced to a new culture through these!

The Korean Cultural Center is a small three floor cultural center in NW DC close to many embassies. It's open Monday-Friday to the public and often hosts events in the back courtyard. They often have art exhibits on the second floor. It's a small space, but something free to do...
